Show me a Snowman

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog.
It being the beginning of the month over at Sparkles Chrismas Challenges
it is time for our new monthly challenge. It was my time to choose,
I so love snowmen, stamps, images and even in real life so, no surprise
Show Me A Snowman
is the challenge for October. Please pop and check out the wonderful
inspirational creations by the Design Team.
For my card, rather than stamping a card as I normally do, I decided to
create my card using a CD, to hopefully encourage newbies or
experienced card makers who like to use CDs. Many of us do.
So for my card - all the papers and decouaged images were
printed from a La Pashe CD - The Best of 2012.
Additional elements are labels stamped with LOTV Christmas Tags.
Die Cut of Merry Christmas - a freebie with a magazine.
Card Candi - and of course a Glue pen and lots of glitter.

Wheels (1)

Hi, thanks for your visit. Today I am entering two cards into the
new challenge at CD Sunday Challenges . For the next two weeks
the challenge is
Wheels
I have used my old faithful CD from La Pashe, The Best of 2012.
My first entry is of the army tank.
Parts of the tank are decoupaged, I cut the front sheet at an angle to
allow the inside sheet to be parat of the design.
Thanks for another super challenge ladies.

Ringin' In The New Year'

Hi, everyone, my friends over on CD Sunday Challenges are welcoming in the new year
with a challenge  - ' Ringin In The New Year'
I am sending good wishes to everyone and thank you all for
your wonderful challenge blog.
I used a white scallop edge card.
The background paper is of a wine bottle and glasses.
The main image is matted onto white card with a punched edge,
then matted onto turquoise blue card.
The paper and image are from the go to CD in my collection. ...
La Pashe Best of 2012.
The main image has a few decoupage items, hoping they can be seen.
I stamped, coloured with pencils, two bottles of champagne, from
La Blanche.
Happy New Year.

Let's Party - 4th Anniversary

Wow! It's time to party at Sparkles Christmas Challenges, this being the 4th Anniversary. Congratulations to our wonderful leader and owner of the challenge blog Shaz, as a player and a member of the Design Team, I am loving the challenges and the blog, looking forward for more anniversaries to come.
To celebrate the challenge for the month of February is Let's Party - remember it is a Christmas challenge, so please do party for Christmas Time..
For my project I printed elements from La Pashe The Best Of 2012 CD- I made a folded card using a template. Covered parts with the backing paper and matted the main image onto the centre fold. The background is real live snow, the light is so bad at present, so I photographed it outside in the snow.
Pickles and Podge are enjoying their party, I'm looking forward to viewing your party projects.

Thanks to our wonderful Sponsors

and

Prize is 7 Digis stamps

Summer Edible Treats

For the next two weeks we at Ruby's Rainbow Challenges would like to see you playing with our new theme which is Summer Edible Treats,  the Design Team have colleted an array of some amazing Summer treats for you to check out. If nothing takes your edible fancy then we will be thrilled to see your Edible Treats.
How about a BBQ, as long as the evenings are light, warm and dry, what could be nicer than the sound of sizzling sausages on the BBQ?  I created this card from print outs from a La Pashe best of 2012 CD, I added the pennants which are from Halycion Days CD. So looking forward to visiting to see your treats.

DIY at Cardz 4 Guyz

Hi everyone, I'm hoping for another nice warm day, with less rain.  This week at Cardz 4 Guyz,  Jan has chosen for us DIY - Do It Yourself. I am so lucky because my husband has always been wonderful with DIY projects, yes, sometimes, I have needed to be a firm project manager but he gets the work done. For my card, I found a super image, again, on the CD from La Pashe 'The Best of 2012', it really is an amazing CD. I made a stepper card and used a sheet of blue paper from  a LOTV  'Father Knows Best' paper pad for the background. I enjoyed cutting and placing the decoupage pieces of plumbing. The 'To My Hushand '
stamps are from 'The Glitter Girl's Macho set of stamps.
