More Than One Fold

Hi everyone, for the next four weeks at Sparkles Monthly
our theme is to make a project with

MORE THAN ONE FOLD
There are many possibilities with this challenge, why don't you
take a peek at what the fantastic Design Team have created.

Details of My Card - Called a Shutter Card
Started as an A4  blue card
Using a paper template I marked where you were to cut
and where you needed to score.
Then burnished the folds to create the folding shutter card.
Pieces of white and black card cut to fit the different sections.
I marked each piece and the area it was to fit with a number.
Wooden tapestry stamps and various Colour Box ink pads
were used to created the flower designs
With Love stamp from stash.
The card folds flat and fits into a C6 envelope.

I'm so looking forward to seeing all the different projects.

Folded Card at MMM

Hi, this week for something really different we at Make My  Monday are challenging you to
Make A Card with More Than One Fold. Some time ago these Shutter cards were very popular, so I thought I would re-visit an older technique. If your interested here is a You Tube video to watch. Once the card was made I measured  white pieces of card to fit each section. I then chose my colours of Versa-colour ink pads. The stamps I used were a number of various Peg Stamps I have in my stash. I love these small stamps they are so universal, I don't think I use them enough. The centre For You sentiment is an adorable small stamp I was lucky to find for 50p. I'm looking forward to seeing a variety of folded cards over the next week, have fun everyone.
