Vintage

Hello, thanks for your visit, I hope you are staying well
and coping okay in the lockdown.
Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz
Heidi has chosen for #244 Vintage

I used a 6" sq. card, matted the white card with pale blue
card. I printed the pyramid decoupage image , sentiment, papers
and buttons from a CD - Man About Town by Kraftyhands.

B is for Boy's Card

Hello, thanks for your visit. I hope you are staying safe.
Crafting is a wonderful, peaceful escape from the news.
Today at Alphabet Challenges we have the letter B.
B is for Boy's Card.

I made an A5 card, with a decoupaged dinosaur,
the dinosaur and papers are all from a CD by Kraftyhands
Dangerous Dinosaurs.
I have found this a very useful CD in my collection, lots of 
boys (and girls) love dinosaurs.

Here Comes the Rain


Hello, I hope you are well and coping with the lockdown.
Crafting is a wonderful way to occupy the mind, I am so
grateful, I have this hobby.
Today at My Time To Craft there is a new challenge
'Here Comes the Rain'

During this time of long hours to fill,  I found a kit I
had bought ages ago, and had only made one card.
Here is my second card from the kit, it is 8" square.
Gold backing, patterned card from the kit as was the
 deoupaged image, very stylish in Paris, in the rain.
Die cut sentiment words and pretty gems.

To Die For

Hello everyone, I hope you are well, thanks for taking the
time to stop by my blog.
Today we begin a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz

I'll be honest die cuts are not one of my favourite 
crafting styles - genres.  I really only have those
for shapes and words, maybe a few others.
Here is my card a 7" sq card. I used black card for matting, 
a lemon card from Creative Crafting World.
The decoupage sheet is by Dolly Dimples.
A die cut spiral and 'Sending' die cut by Moonstone.
Hope you enjoy crating your die cut card.

Wild Animals

Hello everyone, thanks for popping by. Today we begin a new
challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. Sue has chosen ---
Wild Animals.

Lucky for me I found in my stash a sheet of zebras,
waiting to be decoupaged.  I remember buying this 
years ago, just goes to show, all our crafty bits are worth keeping.

Inky Backgrounds

We still have open a DT Call, we need a few more to join us.
I used a mixture of Distress Inks by Ranger. These were 
blended , dried, water splashes added and then dried. 
The flower stamp is from Sparkles Garden.
 I decoupaged  the flowers which were coloured with Promarkers
 and Glitter pens by Sakura
Other stamps used are from Fairy Magic. Both sets
are by Crafters Companion.

3D Decoupage

our new challenge is 
3D Decoupage

the Design Team have created some wonderful inspiration.
For my card, I used a 5"sq. scallop edge card.
Gold mirri to mat the two pieces.
Christmas themed paper from my mountain of stash.
The main image is several layers stamped with an 
Imagination Crafts stamp - The Christmas Rose.
Each layer has been lifted with 3d dimensional pads.
Coloured with Promarkers and DI Wild Honey.
The greeting stamp from my stash.

H is for Happy Birthday

Hi, thanks for your visit. Today at Alphabet Challenges

I made an 8" scallop edge card, I used a sheet of deep pink glittery 
foil paper as contrast. 
The decoupage image came from a sheet I bought at a 
craft event. The background papers, ribbons etc are
all from my stash. This card was made for my
granddaughter's 18th birthday.

Blue and Brown


Hello again, our new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz
was chosen by me, Blue and Brown. 
It has been a while since we had a colour challenge.
The Design  Team have some wonderful inspiration 
for you over on the blog. Don't miss them.
I love Kraft card and of course blue, I do think they go 
together so well, especially for the guyz.
I used a  scallop edged A5 Kraft card.
The backing paper was from a 12" sq. paper pad 
Trendy Blue Lifestyle - from The Works. 
Blue card cut with an oval die.
The  decoupaged images are from a Hunkydory USB # 02.

Ice Cream



Hello, today we start a new challenge at Make My Monday.
Emma has chosen Ice Cream. It can be the colours of ice cream 
or lollies or even ice cream. My fellow DT have some lovely ideas
so please pop over to see what they have been up to.
My small white card has been matted with silvi mirri card.
A very pretty pink backing paper with lots of white hearts.  
The fairy with the birthday cake is a print out from a
Hunkydory #7 USB.  I edged the circle with Worn Lipstick DI.
Strawberries and vanilla ice cream was my inspiration. 
Greeting is a die cut  creation from silver mirri card.

My card is from a CD - The Best of La Pashe 2012, 
I know it's an old one but I love them, they will never be 
out-dated for me. Though not obvious it is decoupaged.
I used silver mirri to mat the back panel and the image. 
Crystal gems added with a paper bow.

Super Heroes

Anything Goes Christmas # 8

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. ~Today we begin a new
two weekly challenge at The Holly and The Ivy Challenge Blog
Our challenges are always Anything Goes -Christmas. Have fun.

For my card, I adore this image of Santa, I found this decoupage sheet
in a sale bin for 10p , wasn't I lucky.  The sentiment hs ben recycled 
from a card I received last year. This card shows you don't have to be 
always creating new products, our older ones still have life in them.
A white card, with red card for the mats, the star paper is from my stash.

a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz   chosen by me.
Inspired by A Song
The DT always seem to create amazing projects, please go to see their
achievements, they are so individual and varied.
I was inspired by the Michael Buble song -
Babe - You've Got What It Takes.
This is a 7" sq scallop edge card. Matted with paper which
hopefully matches her dress.
The background papers, embellished flowers and topper are
all from a CD - Crafty Sentiments  Designs - Here Come The Girls -
Creative Crafting World.
Additional pearls added.

Jungle Fun

Hi, today we start a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. 
Amy has chosen Jungle Fun. 
Starting with this challenge for over the summer period we
are changing from a weekly to a two weekly challenge blog. 
The DT have created some fabuous ideas of being in the jungle.
Why don't you take a peek on the blog.
I made my card from a decoupage kit. I added
several of my own twists.  The background papers 
and the leaves and the words  are from my stash.
I added a wobbly spring to the head, which is great fun for 
kids (and me) I have been flicking the head regularly.

I edged the background paper with black ink to help to define it.

Speed


Helo everyone, thanks for visiting my blog.  We are starting a new 
challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz ,  it being my turn,  I chose 
SPEED

For my card, I made a black  8" sq. card.
I used a Craft Creations Decoupage sheet which provided the 
main motor cross cyclist and embellishments. The flags are
from an old stamp from my stash, source unknown.
I also used red card, tan and white striped paper and some
brown mesh all from my stash.

Happy Birthday
