W is for Wish - Anything you Wish


Hello everyone, a new challenge starts today at
Alphabet Challenges  - Meg has chosen for the
letter W - Anything you Wish.
For more information please visit the blog and be 
sure not to miss the ideas from the design team.
I made a C6 linen card, added a white panel,
which was embossed with a  Cuttlebug script E.F.
Stamped onto a die cut oval - Snowdrop from a set
by Chocolate Baroque. Coloured with pencils 
and Promarkers.  Given a dot border.  Stamped
'thanks' sentiment added.

N is for Naughty

Good morning, thanks for your visit. 
Today we begin a new challenge over on 
Alphabet Challenge - Dawn has chosen 
N is for Naughty
Why don't you pop over to check the details and
 to see the cards made by our design team.
For my 6" sq card, I matted a red card background,
two sheets of paper from last year's Christmas paper pad.
The main image of a naughty reindeer was a gift from a friend,
which I coloured with Promarkers. I have added Glossy Accents
 to the light bulbs.  Have fun creating your naughty card.

L is for Lemon and Lime


Good morning,  we have a new challenge starting over
on Alphabet Challenges - Meg has chosen for
L - Lemon/Lime.

I blended onto white card Dsistress inks Squeezed Lemonade
and Twisted Citron, embossed with Circle Illusions,
by Creative Expressions, then matted onto black card.
I usded a Honey Doo stamp Garden Peony, coloured with
the same inks as above, adding two other pen colours for
the shading. Matted onto black card and fussy cut.
Added to the card on dimensional pads. A small
dry air clay butterfly added and a birthday sentiment.
Black crystals added to one corner.

K is for Kind Thoughts.
We would like to see anything for the kind thought
but NOT for a birthday. - Thank you

I made a simple 6 x 4 purchased plain white card,
in the centre panel, I added two mat layers and the
stamped image - from Crafter's Companion -
Sparkle Garden, coloured with Promarkers.

J is for Joy or Joy Fold card


Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we begin a new 
challenge over on Alphabet Challenges.
For the letter J - Janice has chosen
Joy or Joy Fold Card.

I decided to make a Joy fold card. I followed the instructions
from one of the videos on You tube. There is a link over on 
the challenge blog.
All the papers I used are from a paper pad - 
Romantic Fine Art from The Works.
The sentiment, flowers, leaves and butterflies are all
from dies bought at The Works.
I enjoyed making the card which is an adaption of
a J fold card, this being a Double Z - J fold card.

Hats and Handbags


Hello, today we are starting a new challenge at
Alphabet Challenges - which is
H is for Hats and Handbags
Our design team are thrilled for you to visit the blog
to see their creations and for any information you need.
For my card, I have a 7" scallop edge, sq card.
A shiny gold card, cream linen card form the mats,
the backing paper and images are CD print outs
from CD by Katy Sue Designs - Fabulous Fashions.
I have added die cuts, stems and flowers and
some shiny gems. I have drop shadowed the
sentiment die cut.  Have fun.

from Kanban. I have also used silver mirri card for
matting and die cuts.

I hope there is enough bling to make my card Glitzy.

we are starting a new challenge. For the letter P - Meg has 
chosen P is for Penguin

For my card, I used a white 6" sq. card. the papers are from 
a pad of Christmas papers in my stash. The lovely image is
a stamp by LOTV - Penguin Pals.
coloured with Promarkers and fine line pens.
Glitter is scattered here and there. 
The die cuts are the sentiment, silver mats and the snowflake.

D= Dots


Hello, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new
challenge at Alphabet Challenges. Amy has chosen for the 
letter D --- Dots.

I made a C6 card, placed a lilac pearlised card to mat the main
sheet of card. I drew dots around the edges.
The flower heads were stamped onto dotty paper & card.
Cut then glued in place.
Flower stems pencilled in. A ribbon bow added. 
The flower stamp is by Sheena Douglas from her 
Funky Flowers set of stamps.

Today at Alphabet Challenges we once again begin the journey through 
the alphabet, starting with  the letter A - Silvi has chosen for us 
A - Anything but a card

I have created a scrapbook page, I am so trying to catch up with wonderful 
photos of my friends and family. Say hello to Lynne and Allison.
A peach background adorned with scraps of designer paper,
torn and scraped around the edges. The photo was matted onto peach card. 
Flowers were fussy cut from a scrapbook page with flowers.

I am so looking forward to spring, the beginning of March
brings so much promise, of freshness, greenery and daffodils.
(Let's not discuss that we in the UK have snow, snow and snow.)
The stamp is by LOTV Daffodils.  I coloured with Promarkers.
The background paper is from a paper pad of Blue papers from The Works.
Ribbon, lace and gems are from my stash.
The card is for a friend in an internet papercraft swap.

V- Vellum

Hi, thanks for your visit, all comments are welcome.
Today we take another step forward in the alphabet at 
Alphabet Challenges, we are looking at the letter V.
I chose Vellum, I love how delicate and soft this is.
Please check out the blog the DT have been creating and it would be
a shame for you to miss their artwork.
The stamp I used is Bold Blooms - Erica, by Woodware Stamps.
I stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with Stampendous 
Detail White embossing powder.
The flowers were coloured with Crafter's Companion - 
Sparkle Pens. Small pearls added.

K is for Kinetic


Hello, today at Alphabet Challenges we have reached the letter K.
The challenge set is for anything Kinetic.

I have made a Twist and Pop-Up Card.
I used papers from Graphic 45 Off To The Races. 
There are lots of tutorials on You Tube if your interested. 
Here it is when opened.
