Make It Krafty

Hello, I hope you are well. The weather at this
time of the year is not normal,  it's as if spring has
arrived a few months too early. Nevertheless we
still need to be crafting. Today we have a new challenge
for you starting at Make My Monday.
Being my turn to choose, I chose to use one of my
favourite mediums in card making.......
Make It Krafty
We need to see you have used Kraft card.
The DT have again provided some fabulous inspiration,
please pop over to the blog, to see them.
I made a 6" sq scallop edge Kraft card.
I made a panel for the stamp - heat embossed and
then coloured with Promarkers.
Both the flower and sentiment are by Crafty Roo.
I blended Forest Green DT around the edges of the card.
The added pearls in each corner to embellish.
White dots added randomley with a white gel pen.
Have fun in your crafating.

Embossing Wet or Dry

Hello again, after a restful weekend, it is time to start getting
busy making some cards.
Today we begin a new challenge at Make My Monday
which was chosen by Meg - Embossing Wet or Dry.
So it's time to either get out your embossing folders or your
embossing powders. Or even a combination of both.
Why don't you pop over to see the inspiration from the DT?
I watercoloured onto my card with shades of blue and green.
Dried it and stamped with Versafine Black ink  -Funky Flowers
and a Happy verse by Cafty Roo stamps,  sprinkled with
fine clear embossing powder, heat set.
I painted the flower with Sparkle glitter pens.
I matted onto black card with a trip of hessian, 3 brads,
with cord wrapped around the brads. Have fun.

In TheGarden

Hello, today at Make My Monday we are starting a
new two weekly challenge. It was my time to choose,
I was looking forward to start some serious gardening, so
I have chosen, In The Garden. Don't think the rain is ever
going to stop for some serious garden time.
So maybe making a card will provide some garden time.
The DT have had fun, please check their cards out.
I wnt to a Craft event yesterday and bought an Issue 03
Hunkydory Cardmaking Collection for half price.
I know it's an old one but hey it's still usable.
I was inspired by one of the cards in the magazine, so
used their stamps. The background was created with DI Fire Brick,
I used a Crafty Roo Splatt stamp with water for a faux
bleach splatt effect. The sentiment is also from Crafty Roo.
I hope you like my different take for this challenge.
