Mary Anderson is a popular name.  An actress named Mary Anderson appeared in Gone With the Wind.  She died in 2014:

This Mary \Anderson appeared in many films in the Teens and Twenties.  Vitagraph films have a poor survival rate, so I don't know if I have ever seen her.

I was sad to learn of the passing of actress Mary Anderson.  She played the nurse in Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat.  She asked Hitchcock "Which do you think is my best side?"  He replied "You are sitting on it." 

She also appeared in Gone With the Wind.
