The Lincoln Theater in Pittsburgh offered His Great Chance, a race film directed by Ben Strasser. I have not been able to learn much about Strasser, or about His Great Chance. Among the "All-Star Colored Cast" was Tim Moore, a comedian who played the Kingfish in the Amos and Andy television show.
The Pittsburgh Courier was a widely read African American-owned newspaper.
