βροτῶν, though referring to the dead; cp. 462: Aesch. Ch. 129“χέουσα τάσδε χέρνιβας βροτοῖς” (to Agamemnon). But in Soph. Ant. 851“βροτοί” are opposed to “νεκροί”.
