ἔργ᾽ ἔχων, ‘possessed of them,’ ‘knowing them’: “ἔργα” being ‘facts’ as opp. to “λόγοι” (59 f. “ὅταν λόγῳ θανὼν” | “ἔργοισι σωθῶ”). Cp. Ant. 9ἔχεις τι κεἰσήκουσας”; —Others explain, ‘while engaged in a course of action’ (cp. Ant. 300πανουργίας...ἔχειν”, n.).—For ἐμοί, after με, cp. O. C. 811μηδέ με” | “φύλασσ᾽ ἐφορμῶν ἔνθα χρὴ ναίειν ἐμέ” (n.).
