Park City Snob...

Boston has improved a ton this ski season.  He has been doing sweet tricks

at the terrain park in Park City, and loves going with the bland boys.  He rides

the ski bus that picks up down the street from our house on Saturdays and 

then ski's all day.  He was super close to getting his backflip!  Let's hope he doesn't get to 

crazy this next season, or else i may have a heart attack.

Sledding!

I love that the twins have early out every friday!!  We have had the greatest winter with lots

of snow and plenty of ski days!  Especially Boston!  It is amazing how good 

that kid is getting at skiing.   

We have an awesome sledding hill down the street from my house.  Early out 

was perfect to go sledding.  Since everyone else was in school. 

we had the place to ourselves!!

Park City!

   we have had a very mild winter this year and we are DYING!  we are the family that 

actually loves the snow to come and love our Utah Skiing!!
  I love skiing and when the day that all my children are skiing on their very
own i will be oh so happy!   

{seems so far away sometimes! ha}

When we finally had the first snow storm of the year {Jan 23rd} we jumped at the 

opportunity to take our kids to ski some fresh powder!  you can imagine how 

excited they were to know that we were skipping school to head to

Park City for the day! 

Boston loved that they had the terrain park right next to the lift we
 were taking the twins down.  This was their first time skiing ON THEIR OWN!  

yes, finally they are skiing!!ha

We love Park City!  

It's one of my favorite resorts.  It's very family friendly with wide open ski runs!  It's also 

great for my 12 yr old who was bored {after the first two runs} to ski down some 

expert runs that were packed with powder!

The weather was GORGEOUS that day {major +} we were all sunburned when we got home!
Utah seriously has the "Greatest Snow on Earth!"

one EXTRA week...

Of "No School!"

this past week we had one more week off of school, due to some flooding.
needless to say my kids were SO excited!

we tried to escape this cold weather, but our dad was in his busiest season of work, especially

 that particular week. bummer.

we still enjoyed the days playing while everyone else was in school.

i love love love my kids home. so we just continued on playing with our video games, 

dsi's, ipad, and our cousins.  Yep the other taylor cousins who go to our school 

were out of school too!!

we took the kids sledding, out to lunch, matinee's, play dates with friends from school,  

color me mine, and trafalga!

all pictures are taken from my phone, so the quality is not so good.  but normally it takes good 

pictures.  i realized by the end of the week that my lovely little 2 yr old had messed 

with the settings. so now it's back to normal.

 trafalga in lehi is the bomb!  you remember "Liberty land" {right off the freeway}

 where we would go in the summer.  well it's new and improved and we got sucked into the 

"pass of all passes."  This place is awesome!  

Awesome laser tag, and glow in the dark golf, huge arcade area, along with
plenty of outdoor activites as well.

we spent an afternoon {ivy-less} at color me mine.  one of boston's fav's.  I haven't taken the twins before and thought that would be fun.  well hayes was done after about 20 minutes.

why can't boston just sled down like all the other kids?! ;)

 today the kids started back to school, and a part of me is so bummed.  i love having my kids home.  i  think what i love the most is that they love to be home!  I love that they actually love being together as a family more than hanging with their friends. 

I am one lucky momma! 

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

We awoke this morning to some more Snow...
So the kids were dying to get out in it! They seriously stayed out there for 2 hours. Hayes & Olivia were doing Snow angels, it was so adorable, They didn't want to come in. So guess who got a whole lot of stuff done??!!
We had some Yummy "Candy Cane" Hot cocoa with an assortment of stuff to put in it.
Now We are going to go see "Alvin & the Chipmunks" We have been dying to see it!

TUBING @ Soldier Hollow!

Today We had NO SCHOOL! Yahoo, So we all went up to Soldier Hollow for a Fabulous day Tubing!! It was soooo Gorgeous, The Weather was so warm we took off our Jackets and Were Sledding with No gloves, No Beanies! They said it was almost 50 Degrees!
We went With Brigham, Lacey, Mc Call & Es Dee! Hayes and Olivia were so fun too! They loved it and even took a nap in the Chair.
Then We went to CHili's for some Dinner !

Baby, It's Cold Outside....

It is so dang cold here! I love the Snow, I just don't like the Cold, especially since the kids are out of School and now dragged to run errands in it.
I did take Boston and Brigham for the day to go see Charlottes Web! It is so cute. We liked it. He read the Book with his First grade class, So i thought that would be a fun Reward.

I had a Girls night out on Wednesday with my Friends in the Neighborhood! It was so fun, We all went to Jane's house and She ordered Cafe' Rio for all of us and we Made "Pomanders". It is her annual girls out Party, and I loved it! I have super Cute decorated Oranges! Thanks Jane for the Night out.
Now we have all the Christmas Shopping done, and can just finish up the Last minute details.
We are going to the Nutcracker on Saturday, Grandma Hansen's Party on Saturday night, and then I am Hosting the Christmas Eve Dinner at our House.
I love this time of year, I love to listen to Good Christmas Music, Recieving Christmas Cards in the Mail, and spending quality time with our Families!

More Snow!!!!

This is How much snow we have over here in Orem! Cory Says about 1 1/2 feet of snow!
Yesterday we had alot and now today its just doubled. It is so beautiful! How much snow does everyone else have right now? Did anybody else get this much ?

And well the list can just go on and on.....

We just got done reading books by the fire and drinking our Hot cocoa! These are the cutest books ... One of them is called "Snowmen at Night" by Carolyn Buehner, It is one of our Favorites!
This is so Adorable, I just asked Olivia "Who was born on Christmas?" and she said "Jesus" I am so serious, Boston and I were a little Shocked that she understood that!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

This is what I woke up to this morning at 7 am its so beautiful! We went running in this, and believe it or not we saw like 3 other people doing it also! Crazy kids!! This would be a great Ski day for everyone. We will go sledding this morning, as soon as Boston Wakes up. Then a movie with the Family! Oh yes, Candaces concert -Cancelled. ( I am so bummed, I wanted to hear you sing my Very Favorite song...Still Still Still. Maybe another day.)
