7th grade Basketball!

Boston had a blast playing with his buddies on the Bantum Basketball league. 

 Cory has enjoyed coaching them for yet another year. 

 We actually took 2nd in the championship game.  We had a great season and we owe 

it all to our sweet "Pro Look Sports" Uniforms! ha! 

once we got the uniforms from our friend Dusty, we literally won every game!

the boys are still playing in the March league and doing great! 

state basketball tournament!

My nephew Derek's team made it to play for State in basketball! we packed up the family and headed to Boise to support the "Moscow Bears!"   

we had a blast hanging out with cousins and watching lots of basketball games.   

The first game mynephew hurt his ankle but continued to play and WIN the game.

later that night they found out that his ankle was broke 

and he had to be on crutches.  

So devastating to him since this is his senior year in high school 

& he worked so hard for this!

they ended up taking 3rd in the State which is still good, but they had the potential to win

the whole thing.  Derek makes about 15 points a game and so they really needed him to win.

regardless, we still enjoyed hanging out with our Pennington and Carson cousins.

lots of pool time!!

we saw the Lorax on Imax and it was so cute!  We loved this movie!

 our hotel room had a sweet huge tub the kids used as their hot tub every night! haha

then on our way home we ended up staying one more night at the "Grand America" hotel!

  they have the cutest little candy shop "Jou Jou's" inside the Hotel and it is darling!

on to the tournament!

Boston's Bantum Basketball team is going in to the tournament 

as the #1 seed! woop woop!!   

They are so much fun to watch!   This is boston's first year playing on 

a competitive basketball team and he loves it, he plays daily and practices all the time. 

 it's fun to see him love the sport so much.

Both my boys have been busy playing basketball!  Boston plays on a 6th grade Bantum team 

this year and they are dominating! he loves it and plays and practices alot!!

my little hayes just started playing basketball this year.  he still doesn't know what to

 think of  it, it's taken him a while to catch on and get aggressive

 but hey he's playing basketball! haha

the best part of summer...

is our favorite shaved ice "Snoasis" here in alpine!

it's so good, and i am not even kidding!

they put ice cream in your shaved ice or better yet, cream! 

to.die.for.

i don't order one, because i end up drinking from everyones! ha

some favorites are... miss livi's 'maui wowee' and hayes' 'cotton candy'  

boston and ivy stick to 'tigers blood'  and it is so so good.  

the line is usually like a disneyland line!  {no joke}

the kids love to give weird names so that when theirs is 

ready the guy/gal has to yell it out. totally their highlight of the day!

{yes we go there quite often} 

we've been busy with summer camps!  boston is in heaven

 with lonepeak basketball camp, and lacrosse camp.  he comes home daily with stories of

 how his team won the layup contest and his big win of the "Mr. hustle" award!  

he thinks he is jimmer! {wink} 

lots of friends to play with and plenty of ball games to attend to.  

summer has finally arrived!

Utah Flash

 My friend susan invited us along with a bunch of our buddies to hang out in their "suite" and watch the "Utah Flash" basketball game.   It was so awesome!  The suite was also catered with

 "Malawi's" pizza {which is one of my fav. places to eat} We all had a blast!  

kids were plenty hyped up on pepsi and malawi's dessert pizza by the end of the night.

NBA PLAYOFFS!

Cory & Boston got tickets tonight to watch the Utah Jazz-Warriors game! Boston was so excited and We are hoping for a Great Ending to this Series! Right now the Game is So INTENSE they are always quite close with this team! I know they are having fun because Cory said it is So loud there that he probably won't be able to hear for a week!

I Scored a Goal at my Soccer game tonight! Woo Hoo....But unfortunatley we lost 5-6 !

A big fat.....WOO HOO!!! For the Jazz! They Won and It was a dang intense game! Holy Cow!
I am so excited that Cory and Boston got to be there for the Celebration, You couldn't have picked a Better game to see!
