My Jr. high car pool...

...consists of all boys and one beautiful girl {who missed this day because she was sick, sorry tash} 

I loved surprising them on the day i was driving with the one & only 'Witney Carson' haha!!  

My poor Witney!  haha  she had no idea what she was in for on this super snowy day.  I told her i was coming by in 5 minutes to show her off at Boston's school.  His friends would DIE to see her! ha

They all thought that was so cool.  I had to document this. 

Thanks my cute witters for being a good sport.  Now boston is selling off some stuff 

that she signed for his friends. Some of these boys are obsessed with her! ha

Christmas lights at Thanksgiving Point

We can't believe we have never been to see the Holiday lights at Thanksgiving point. They 

were so fun.  We went with our friends the Horsley's to see the live nativity in alpine and their 

was a 2 hr wait! yikes.   So we decided to go check out the lights and Reindeer instead.

We ended up getting some hot cocoa/cider and took a ride through the lights on a horse

drawn carraige!  It was so much fun!

Villains vs. Superheroes...

Our friends in the neighborhood do an annual Halloween Party, each year is a different theme.

they go ALL out for this party! it's even a surprise to what the theme is until 

you get your invitation. 

this year it was themed to Superhero or Villain.  It was so much fun!

Cory and I went as Captain Hook and Tiger Lily.  Everyone had such fun and clever

choices of costumes.  Loved seeing everyone dress up!!

we all started off by meeting up at the park behind our house.  Once we took some pictures 

we were off on an "amazing race" to our final destination!  

*We had to get a picture of a "Damsel in Distress"   

which was me being roped to a tree. {can't find the picture}

***recruit a "Henchman"

****knock off a Kingpin at Jack n Jill bowling.

maybe this was the best part of the night... i laugh every time i 

see this awesome picture!!!

we were the first ones to arrive...  it was very close! 

Luckily we won the prize!

they had so many fun games to play and passed out super clever awards!

they are the ultimate Party Planners!  

our incredible Host & Hostesses... who are we kidding those girls did all the work! haha!

Fall Break...

The weather this fall has been incredibly beautiful here in Utah.  

We enjoyed our surroundings for our "Fall Break" with friends and cousins.  

Staying home is a necessity these days.  {we've been busy} 

We started off with early out on Wednesday at noon!

We went with our friends the Horsley's to Swim at the AF pool.  

No One was there which made 

it even more fun!

thursday we started first thing with "Cornbelly's" at Thanksgiving point

 with my sisters and their kids.  It's So much fun! 

If you haven't been yet this fall, you don't want to miss this!

they definitely upgraded this year with a huge Slide and more haunted houses!  

Boston lovedshooting corn and pumpkins from a cannon! 

it's an absolute blast!

honestly they spent about an hour here building a house with huge lincoln logs.  

who would have thought you could be that entertained with pieces of wood??  

after Cornbelly's we headed to Chick Fil A for lunch and then off to see

 "FrankenWeenie" 

I liked it, but it was a little weird... like all of Tim Burton's movies.  

Friday we went to breakfast at Magelby's fresh. {Boston's pick} and sent Cory and Boston

off with Tyler and his boys to go Hunting!  

they were so excited to go camping and hunting....hoping to come 

home with something.

***Saturday***

 Brody had his birthday party at "All American Gymnastics" which was so fun 

to play on all the equipment! The twins have taken gymnastics there last year and were 

so excited to come back and play there.  

even I got a little excited to do some fun stuff! {wink wink}

Monday we woke up and "Hiked the Y" with our friends the Child family!  I can't believe my

 little ivy did it all by herself.  I initially tried to carry her in a back pack, but it was SO heavy and

 that hike is SO steep!  So she hiked it holding my hand. Haha!  I kept telling her how exciting

 it will be to tell her daddy and everyone that she hiked the Y at 4 yrs old! She held strong 

& did it, even her dog 'Boo' made her appearance! 

 Boston, Calvin and Cobe pretty much ran up to the top. ha!

After the hike we went to Malawi's and ate our very favorite pizza!  the kids 

walked around the shops at riverwoods for a bit and then we headed home.

it was a perfect end to our fall break!

Boston is a Utah fan!  so he is being a little stinker and showing his "U" sign while on the Y!

I cannot believe i have a "TEENAGER"

wow, time goes by fast.  i love every moment! {well not every moment}

Boston is fully into Lacrosse this year, so he asked for lots of Lax stuff.  He is definitely

a teenager when he gets excited for clothes!

this boy is so much fun! he is such a great kid and i love watching him grow into a young man.

it is such a joy to be his mom!

this year we grabbed a few friends and headed to "Lowes's Xtreme Airsports"  Pretty much his

favorite place.  Since Boston was 4 years old all he would do is backflip and

 do tricks on the tramp.  how perfect for him to go to the ultimate jumping spot to celebrate. 

I could watch him all day long.  He is seriously so coordinated and makes areals and flips

 look so easy.  

I forgot my real camera at home! {insert major sigh} so these are all taken from my iphone, and i 

video'd most of it! oops.

we all loved watching him open his presents that morning!

He has the greatest friends!

i love how little miss ivy picked out her outfit on his birthday. hahaha   she is hilarious!!

we came home from lowe's and celebrated with Boston's favorite "Sweet Tooth Fairy" cupcakes.

then upstairs to his quarters for some 'call of duty' x boxing before we head 

out to his favorite dinner spot... "Tepanyaki"

  

i love how cory is making him smile at the camera.  

He is now at the age where he is bugged at taking pictures. ha!

later that night 2 of his buddies who were at a Lax tournament came over to see him! jake and zack crack me up.  we exchanged gifts since zacks bday is on july 4th and jake's is july 19th.  Their gift from boston was "Captains quarters!"  they then proceeded to jump and do tricks in just their CQ's!  

we were all laughing so hard!!

it was the perfect way to end his fun filled day!
