Johnson Reunion {fourth of July}

We drove all the way to Oregon, my Dad's territory!  He has the most beautiful view from his home on the Mountain.  We got to stay the night at his place before we all headed to Whisper Canyon Ranch in Lake Selmac.  It was so fun to see his handmade "bridal veil falls" in his backyard.  The kids loved his view and shot golf ball off the mountain. ha!

We all put on our Johnson family reunion shirts and did some morning Yoga while
we enjoyed our view.

We spent the fourth of July going through the Redwoods of California
{super close to the Oregon coast} and then off to the Coast.
It was a perfect and beautiful day to be so adventurous with so many people.  We were surprised that it wasn't crowded at all, perfect for us!   Grandpa told us lots of information and trivia!
Kids had a blast climbing up the huge Redwood trees and of course doing handstands/headstands!   The coast was gorgeous too, and the kids jumped in the ocean and swam for a bit.  After the Redwoods we went to a delicious pizza place and then off to the Coast.

***The Rogue River***

possibly my favorite day and adventure... Something i have always wanted my kids to do
with my Dad, before he got too tired and old.  He knows this river so well, and i love that he took
us all down together to have such an awesome experience.  Even Ivy went!
This was bucket list stuff for me!

Boston with all the crazy teenagers! good luck uncle Steve!

olivia apparently felt more safe in grandpa's raft. ha! {behind charlee}

Hayes and Ivy were with us and in this picture hayes got bucked off his seat to the
floor, and so did pregnant Jacquie!

***Whisper Canyon Ranch***

This place was so much fun, so beautiful and very peaceful...
horses, bunnies {brand new bunnies}, volleyball, horseshoes, etc... the kids had a blast.  The cabins
were so nice, with guest cabins, and master suites. Nice job dad and madge!
never a dull moment and many volleyball tournaments were played.

2 week old bunnies...

Cousins are awesome!!!

Ivy with her cousins! ha!  She's the youngest of the Johnson cousins so
her bff's are the great grandkids!

The Whole gang...

Called to Serve...

We headed to Mesa, Az to my darling niece Ally's mission farewell. It was a
much needed getaway since we have experienced one of the coldest
winters ever!!  don't get me wrong, i love the snow, but not when it's -11.

We were so excited to hit 89 degree weather and to see our Ally Cakes
before she heads to Stockholm Sweden!

Ally is the oldest Taylor Grandchild and the First to go on a Mission.  What
an incredible example she has set for the rest of the cousins.
She is contagious that girl, she's had my heart since she was 1!  {yep i've
known her that long} It was a beautiful farewell and she is
going to be an amazing missionary.   I think her mom said it perfectly
that Sweden needs a little "sunshine!"  Love this girl like crazy,
she is definitley missed...

Possibly the cutest farewell with the waffle bar.  We made about 500 waffles.  This girl
is one popular woman! ha!

New years eve...

We started off our new years eve festivities with a Pajama Party at "Classic Skating Fun Center"
with the Birchall's!  The kids loved waking up in their jammies and
heading straight to skate!  We love it when Summer rents out the whole place!!

kids had a blast all morning, then we ate lunch and then went to play games with The Carson's!
We had balloons for the kids to pop every hour that had an activity inside!  We started off by doing a dance off with Just dance 4! {of course witney won}  then the games continued on all
night.  It was a successful night and even Ivy made it to midnight!

Ivy literally made it to midnight and then passed right out!!  love this picture...

8 is great... baptism day.

It was a perfect day for a baptism... 12/12/12!  Definitely a day they will never forget!
Cory did an amazing job, and the spirit was very strong.  The Program was wonderful
and i loved how everyone came to support these cuties.  We have some wonderful
 friends & family who helped make this day just perfect!

Grandma marlene and Papa joe came out from california to see these two get
baptized.  It's so great to have so much support.  I wish i had a picture of
all who were there.  It was filled with everyone who we love and it was
such a great feeling to have all these wonderful people there.

This date is not only awesome because of it being 12/12/12 but Boston was also baptized on
7/7/07!  {we think it's a cool thing ::wink::}

We were lucky enough to have Great Grandparents there as well... Grandpa and Grandma Hansen.
{Cory's grandparents}

 Grandma marlene and Fuzzy wuzzy {the twins nickname for papa joe! ha}

Nana & Papa Taylor

David & Lauren were champs!  Not only did they have college finals they were dealiong with, but they played the piano and Lauren gave the talk on the Holy Ghost!  We Adore these two!

We ate at JCW's {the twins pick} and then went home to eat some cake!  my friend made
this darling scripture cake!!
it was the perfect ending to the perfect day!
love my babies!!
