a week with our besties...

It's always a fun packed week when our bff's come into town!!  we had SO much fun 

with the Granum's!  I Loved that they were here for Boston's birthday week.  

We met at Tucano's and then went night swimming at stonegate. We definitely packed in 

the fun...

We swam, hiked, went to movies, sliding rock, night swimming daily, spa night at Summer's

played with Sadie {their dog}, Hang time, Lowe's Xtreme airsports, lots of sleepovers, 

Waffle Truck, ate at all their favorite spots, including

many Cafe rio stops, Park city slide & Coaster, and more!

I love when my girl is in town, it's continuous fun and laughter!

these two have been buddies since they were 2 and now look at them at 14!!  too cute!!

the kids were mostly excited for sadie, ha!  Jenn told them they better not hug sadie first!

one afternooon we surprised the Rhodes arrival back home to Utah!  They had

 no idea we would all be in their yard when they arrived.  Best Surprise Ever!!

we're so excited they are back in Utah!

love seeing all of our friends kids growing up together!

we went to Lowes extreme and then the waffle truck.  Luckily for me the Hokulia

 shaved ice place was next to the waffle truck so we hit both stops in one!

Swim Meet time...

This was our first meet of the season for the Twins.  Boston was at Trek and wasn't able 

to compete, but these two were excited to swim! 

This is our 2nd year being on the swim team for these two and they 

are doing Amazing!! love their progess this year.  

They both swam freestyle and backstroke. 

It was a medal meet so the top 6 placed for medals!

Hayes took 4th in freestyle & 8th in backstroke 

Olivia took 8th in freestyle & 12th in backstroke

Strawberry Days RODEO!!

Strawberry days is one of our favorite things to do in Utah!  The best strawberries & Creme EVER!

It's a staple here for summertime with the Carnival, parade and the best... the Rodeo! 

We got dressed up in our cowboy best and headed to the Rodeo grounds with some of 

the taylor cousins, Lauren and David and the Carson's!   

Right before the Rodeo started they had this thing called a "Cash Cow" where they 

put lots of money on a cow and the kids had to run after it grabbing as much money

 as they could!!  Of course Boston was all over that idea {none of the other kids wanted to, ha!}

 and he came back with $7! haha!!

it was hilarious!

Lehi Round Up...

What would summer be like without going to the Rodeo!  It's always so nerve racking 

watching the bull riding, but the kids loved it along with the sweet Moto Cross

show that they did afterwards.

p.s.   Lehi hamburgers are TO. DIE. FOR!

AF Canyon

We live right here by these beautiful mountains, it's breathtaking!

this is our stomping grounds for mountain biking and running. we love this canyon!

we took the kids and some cousins up to make and eat tin foil dinners and roast marshmallows!
it was the perfect evening, {besides the mosquitos we weren't prepared for}

we went on a little hike and then the boys went fishing while the kids played in the

water. 

this was on our summer bucket list!  we will definitely be doing this again.

goodbye summer break... {boo}

 I honestly LOVE my kids home with me! it's crazy how fast summer goes by, which means 

my kids are growing up too fast!

i let them all pick a place that they wanted to go for their last week of summer and we did it! 

they loved this and also picked the dinner for their day too!

'lowe's Xtreme air sports' is incredible.  we loved it! we went with our friends the skousens 

and a couple of our cousins came along too.

 all the kids were in heaven even little ivy. it's a perfect spot for birthday parties!

trampolines everywhere and foam pits too.  it's like the perfect gym for my boston who 

loves to do areals and parkour! they have a little kid area for 5 and under.  

which meant the twins had free reign 

on all the trampolines, which they loved... finally!

boston got a locker and was so excited to see all of  

his different classes.  olivia and hayes got to meet their teacher 

and we LOVE her already.

 on saturday night cory and i put on an outdoor movie theater for all the neighborhood kids! 

we watched 'Harry Potter' and ate popcorn.   it was the perfect 

way to end summer with a bang!
