Lake Powell...

We arrived home Late last night from Lake Powell!
This is one of our Favorite Vacations, it is always so much work but the kids & Cory have an absolute Blast!
The water level rose 2 feet every day making it alot of work for the Daddy's to Re-Anchor the Houseboat EVERYDAY!! {that is a good thing, i guess}
We went with The Granums, and Lacey & Mc Call. This trip was Definitely for Boston & Chase, "2" 8 year old boys who would Rip {no Joke} at Surfing, Wakeboarding, Jet Skiing, Kneeboarding {boston almost did a 360 } and Tubing!
They were seriously so awesome at all of this, and they did it all behind the boat, which has a good size of a Wake! Jenn, Lacey and Mc Call perfected their skills of Surfing and Wakeboarding as Well, while i enjoyed watching everyone tear it up while sitting on the Boat!

Hayes & Olivia went Tubing and fishing and loved driving the boat. Today Hayes was singing the song "4 Minutes" haha...But i think the highlight of the trip for everyone was watching the little kids "Skinny Dip" while washing up on "Skinny Dip Jet Ski night" hahaha
We also had a lot of Houseboat fun as well, with Yummy Dinners every night and Dessert! The kids { oh i mean Lacey & Mc Call} would Color everyday and we had some Killer Coloring Contests {dads were involved too}! We played Games, PSP's, had BonFires, ate S'mores, watched Movies and enjoyed
Being together with NO Cell Phones!

We're Home! We got in super late last night. It was a fabulous trip with our Family and Some Neighbors who parked there houseboat right across from ours!
It was an absolute blast except for the last two days where we were in a HUGE Wind storm and couldn't get off the Lake! No joke, the lake looked like the OCEAN with all the white caps! I was about to "abandon Ship" a couple of times!
We are so glad to be home and off of Water! Boston was off first thing this morning to Swim Team and My Brother Derek and His family are here for the weekend!

My favorite thing about Lake Powell this year was watching Boston and Chase "Jet Skiing" all day long!!!! They are seriously so good, almost better than Jenn and I!
They just took off and knew exactly what to do, and they would Rip around the Buoys on the Buoy Course!
We would just laugh our heads off! "7" years old and Jet skiing! Hilarious to watch!!!!


I also loved watching him Wakeboard! He is so good, he even jumped outside the wake!
He LOVES it too! I tried to just show a couple of my favorite pics from lake powell, but you know me....

Olivia and Hayes loved the Waverunner, the Tube (oh yes they did the tube!) and they loved the video Ipod!

They were such Great kids on the trip!

Tomorrow we have Boston's Double Header and Breelyn Hansen's Reception!

Since I have all day without Boston, I finally went and got Hayes & Olivia's Pictures taken at Fotogenix, they turned out Darling. Then I cruised around the Mall, they were such good kiddos! I finally used my Free 8x10's that they won from the Baby Contest back in July!
The guys to put my fence in are finally here today YEAHHHHH!!! So that's going up, I got my car washed, had lunch with Cory, bought Geoff's Bday present, Hayes & Olivia's pictures done, my house is clean -Now that's a productive day!
Now, after he's been gone all day, Boston says "Mom, can I go and Play somewhere?" What am I chop Liver!
Now we are off for a Date with our friends!

We're Home from our Vacation!

We got home from Lake Powell late saturday night! We had our Taylor Family Reunion. It was so much fun, The weather was fabulous and the cousins had an absolute blast. We stayed on a Houseboat for one week with 15 kids including baby Lucy and baby Sophie,& 14 adults, It was Awesome.
We did kneeboarding, wakeboarding, skiing, Tubing, CLiff jumping, Fishing, Jet skiing, etc..... The Boys set up a BUOY Course for the jet skiis, and that was so fun! The food was fabulous, we had every couple be in charge of one night of food, Cory & I BBQ'D Hamburgers & Hot dogs , Oreo Pudding, Chips and Homemade Salsa, and for dessert we made Peach Cobbler.
Between my sis-n-law Jane and I we got a ton of Photos and Video Coverage, Thanks to cory for my new purchase of my Canon Digital Rebel Camera. I just downloaded them onto my computer and I had taken 520 Photos!! I am sure that Jane has hit her Max of 1,000! (She got one too!) WOW, now thats some Photo Coverage. Everyone just knew to be looking Good at all times, cause you never know when we were gonna take your picture. What troopers! We got some great pictures too.
Boston's favorite part of Lake Powell was Fishing, He caught alot of fish, So did his cousin Ally, She caught 2 Striper Bass and then Todd caught one, so we (cory) decided to filet them, and they were good!
ALL the laundry is now done! WHEWWWW It helps when you have 2 Washers and Dryers, but now I have to put it all away! Boston finds out in the next few days who his 1st Grade Teacher is. So now we have one week of fun before school starts next wednesday!
