Tennis!

My cute little tennis players!

These two started playing at Ivory Ridge this fall.  They play once a week and are 

actually getting really good.  They play with Pro's and are learning all sorts of tricks. Hayes 

has an awesome backhand!  

I love watching them play.  I love tennis and can't wait to play on

 a league when Ivy is in school full time, so i gotta get these two ready to go. ha!

Welcome 2 Summer...

We were thinking about doing our annual neighborhood party on the last day of school, but the 

weather was kinda cold and chilly.  It wasn't warm enough {to me} for water activities. 

So some of us decided to just go to the Alpine park and have a picnic and play Tennis, 

Sand Volleyball and play at the splash pad etc.  

To my surprise it wasn't crowded at all!!  Kids got out at 12:30 and 

we headed straight to the park.

We played and played ALL DAY!!  Lately we've been obsessed with Volleyball, Witney and Jaxon showed up and we played Sand Volleyball with us.  Boston hasn't really played before, just a few times 

and he has been playing non stop and getting really good.  We've even set up a volleyball net in our backyard.  We have nightly games and tournaments.  It's hilarious how good they've gotten.   

Hayes and Livi even serve the ball and get it over the net.  

We've pretty much been partying every day since... nightly BBQ's with cousins, graduation parties,

Witney's home and David and Lauren are staying with us for a few days.  We're loving summer break!!!

Spring break {Utah style}

We stayed home this year for Spring Break because we just returned from our 

awesome trip to Arizona the previous week.  It was just starting to warm up here in Utah

so it ended up being so fun.

We went to movies, ate out, played with friends, went to the Zoo 

{along with everyone else in Utah}, Color Me Mine,  etc... 

We also dog sat for the Carson's

while they were in california.  My kids LOVE max and loved taking care of him.

it was lots of work, but we have now decided that we would love a small

dog when we get one. haha!

We loved "Color me mine"  and it was so fun to see how creative my kids can be. I 

had no idea of their hidden talents.  {ok i helped out with ivy's},  Boston got super

into it and made the coolest AF bowl for breakfast, olivia made a cute plate and

hayes painted a fish. {he didn't really love to paint}  but everyone else LOVED it.

We love the alpine park with tennis courts and splash pad.  It was the first warm day

 so we were excited to get out and play.  We went with friends and played tennis 

and had a picnic.  

then of course we had to hit up our favorite "Sammy's burgers" in the new Cedar hills golf club.

school is ALMOST over! yahoo.... i canNOT wait to play all summer with these kids.

we have a summer bucket list, with activities that we must do while we are on summer break.

last week they were out of school half day for testing.  so we planned some fun lunches in the park

followed by many "snoasis" stops!

we met my david and lauren and played some tennis with them too.

the kids loved to play and actually did very good. 

 this is when i need to invest in a ball machine!

can't wait for tennis lessons for the twins...
