Welcome Home ivy!!!

One of the happiest Days of my life!!! after 5 weeks in the Burn ICU, our baby girl gets to come home!!!!  she walked out of the hospital and so excited to get home and to recover there.  I was
overwhelmed with all the medicine i had to take at different hours, but my baby was home.
I was home, i could be a mom to all my kids!
happy happy day!!!

Our neighbors and friends made a cute sign and balloons out by the front yard so when
we pulled up everyone was in the cup de sac ready to welcome Ivy home!
i cried tears of joy!
I had no idea they would all be there to greet us.
 It was so beautiful and tender, especially for my little ivy.
She loved pulling up and seeing her friends.
She got a brand new car to ride all over and guess who was there holding
balloons with a note that said "you can hold me ALL day?"  buddy our elf!!
That may have been the highlight of her day!

Welcome home sweet ivy,  you are SO loved!

Olivia's "9th" birthday {cake boss style}

It's always a bit crazy around the holidays for me, with the twins birthday's and Cory's too.
But it was well worth the stress this holiday season, especially after the hospital trauma
of our sweet little ivy!  This beautiful daughter of mine needed to celebrate and enjoy a fun party with her besties.
I had made the Aprons  & chef hats around thanksgiving time with the help of my sweet girl when we knew she wanted to do the "Cake Boss" theme and they turned out super super cute!

This party was so much fun, and i had the greatest helpers ever to help me.  The girls arrived and got their chef hats and aprons on and then started decorating with cupcake liners a cute flower to put on their hats. Then we started decorating away, with fondant, beads, all sorts of colors of frosting, and toppings.  I had the greatest helper, Chelsea, who was olivia's primary teacher and an amazing baker help with fondant and showing the girls how to make flowers with icing, etc.  She was AMAZING!
the girls had the cutest cakes, and they really used a lot of creativity.

they loved taking home their cakes!

birthday lunch!

lately we like to do birthday hikes instead of birthday lunches! Ha!
Jenn was here from Hawaii and we were planning to go to the P!NK concert for my bday and
then Pink cancelled her concert! ugh!  instead we had a fun time at "Thriller."

The weather was beautiful and Jenn was dying to see the fall leaves and color in the mountains
so we went on a fun hike up south fork then met the girls at "tortilla bar" for lunch.
It was delicious!

love these girls and so grateful to have such good friends!
and of course we had to bring our dogs... ha!

it's football time...

This is possibly my favorite time of year... i love fall, everything about it, the pumpkin
patches, the leaves changing, the beautiful fall mountains, and football season.

This year Boston tried playing some QB!  He did awesome! He has a great arm
and his passes are great.  He would rather play running back and middle linebacker.  That boy
loves to hit! ha!

8th grade football is challenging, you have so many kids who have already grown a ton and some
that are just hitting puberty. It's a huge size difference and a bit challenging.  Our team kind
of struggled this year, but they still had a fun time.

of course the best part is that the games are on  the High School football fields, which
is amazing!! one game the announcer was announcing all the plays with the name and you hear
Boston Taylor all the time.  It was so awesome!!!

 plus we have the cutest cheerleaders...
love how good the Cheerleaders are to my girls, and of course the American
 Girl dolls had to come to

Ivy turns 5! {cowgirl style}

My baby girl is now 5!  She was so excited to do a cowgirl party!  She couldn't wait to
ride pony's with her cute friends.

she has been into American Girl dolls and wanted Saige for her birthday.  Saige loves to ride
horses and also is an artist.  Ivy said "mom that's just like me!" haha!!
Love my cute little cowgirl.

We loved celebrating Ivy with pony rides and sack races.  The kids ate a light lunch of
Grilled cheese sandwiches, carrots and ranch, grapes, chips & Root Beer.
They all took turn on the two horses that my neighbor brought over.
Penny and Magic were beautiful horses and I'm so grateful there were
no soccer games in the park behind my house, and it didn't rain!!
  It made for an absolutely beautiful day for
a party!

My friend Stacia made this darling cake, it was so delicious too!

My cute little helpers during the party!

Her birthday was the following monday, so of course we had our tradition of waking up to a crepe breakfast before the kids were off to school.  She got to open her presents and loved every minute of it!

Some of ivy's favorites...
 ~She loves to whistle
                                                  ~has to kiss daddy & me 100 x a day {i secretly love that part}
~loves to play with her friends ALL day!
~is really good at coloring
~chocolate milk sippies
~loves to do jobs, and is a great little helper
~'sofia the first'
~playing minecraft with hayes

she has the most infectious laugh and giggle, i die over her dimples!  She is a bit bossy but is
a leader amongst her friends, so i guess thats a good thing, {wink}
she has the cutest sayings that we love to repeat and we all laugh with her!

then we brought pink sprinkled krispy kreme's to school for all of her friends.
She had a fun filled day!
