WIP - I decided to draw on a skirt. I've had it some years and not really worn it  but it looked like it needed something. It has three tiers and I've drawn flowers all around the bottom one. I was thinking about embroidery but I thought painting would be quicker, I don't want to waste too much time if it's awful when I've finished.

I thought I would join in with Tag Tuesday this week. Book prints are used for the tags this week. I've kept mine very simple. I used a page from a vintage shorthand dictionary and used a scrap I had kept from another project. It was part of a digital collage I printed.

I actually covered the other side too with the same page but also put a scrap from a vintage gardening book in the centre. I finished this one digitally with the owl and text.

I like a gin and tonic now and then but find that water collects under the glass on my stone coasters which drips on me when I drink so I thought I would make a fabric coaster out of scraps. I stitched the pieces together with little running stitches but used a machine for sewing the backing on.

It works very well with my G&T.
