40k 2nd edition Ogryns

Hey everyone ! So what's the subject today ? Well you've seen the preview, Perry Ogryns ! 

Following my pattern to paint something for my ork force (totally not an army) eevry other project, I felt a sudden urge to get something meatier, bulkier for da boyz. 

Chaos orks and a complete Realm of Chaos Warband !

Just a week after Jon finished his warband, here is the last unit in my warband : the chaos orks !
I have to be honest and say I pretty much painted those guys along the minotaurs and the renegade but by painting the colours in the right order, I could progressively get some of the models out of the paint queue and get a feeling of progress !

Chaos Squats

Yes I know, squats again, well I guess it's a form of coming out I guess. I love stunties, there I said it ! Now I've been considering getting back on my chaos renegade army for some time but you know how things are right ? There's always a good excuse to do something else and as long as stuff gets done and painted, I don't mind much actually. Things, is though, there's been a combination of events lately that lead me to seriously consider what I'd do next for my chaos army.

Skullz Adeptus mechanicus familiar

Today will be a short post for a short model ! This model is an adeptus mechanicus familiar coming from the Skullz limited edition set.

It's one of those little models I adore because he's holding no weapons and is just meant to add some depth (well and carry books and purify blood for his master).

The set is described as sculpted as sculpted by the Perrys but I'd have sworn there was some Gary Morley amongst those...

The set is quite popular and goes for good money most of the times but I was lucky to benefit from the generosity of a fellow hobbyist who sent me one just because he's nice !

Rogue trader Squats - The return of the Heavy Industrialist Union

After their summer adventures in the foreign lands, the ranger squad of the Heavy Industrialist Union have finally got the last bits of paint and have even gained a friend in the process.

I hope you'll excuse me the poor photos but I haven't bought another camera and have to take my pics with my wife's phone for now (Christmas should hopefully solve that matter...)

Although it took me almost 3 months to complete this little war band, I had real fun with them. The aim behind building this gang was to have a team of scouts or rangers, the sort of squats you send on remote locations to explore hence the limited militaristic look of them and the fact that 2 of them don't even have weapons.
