YA REVIEW: Gnash, Gnaw, Dinosaur - Tony Mitton, Lynne Chapman

BOOK BLURB:

Future palaeontologists will love discovering the dinosaurs in this fun-filled picture book. Each spread features a short rhyming poem by the award-winning Tony Mitton, in which a different dinosaur introduces itself. Mixing humour with information, these poems include details about where each dinosaur lived, what it ate and how it got around. Lynne Chapman's amusing and colourful illustrations all feature a lift-the-flap surprise, enhancing the fun!

REVIEW:

All children love a pop up book and here is a tale that not only amuses the reader but allows them to get into things of interest at an early age. Dinosaurs have entertained children for years so a book that has not only amusing images and rhyming cuplets to accompany it with pictures that bring movement and hilarity along with them really does make this a book that will entertain for a long time. A good bit of fun although one or two of them might be a little scary for younger readers.
