Pocket Monster Finger Puppet

Yesterday on the train/bus ride up to the central coast I crocheted and knitted up a storm. I made most of a freefrom crochet hat and started a knitted scarf. I also made a pocket monster finger puppet. He came out really cool. So I got supplies to make more.

Today I thought I'd document some of my UFO's (Un Finished Objects) so that I don't forget to finish them. Things tend to get buried under other things. My 'back burner' is awfully big these days as more and more projects fall through the cracks.

So here is a knitted hat I designed that needs the ends sewn in, some cable ties I just bought for making a corset, a knitted shrug that needs another foot or so knitted, and some finger puppets I need to finish.

The problem with blogs

I have all my blogs divided into categories. So in the case of this finger puppet, do I put it in my puppet blog, my craft-a-day blog, my crochet blog or my art blog? Yes, I could put it in all of the above, but each listing takes time and I have a full day just like most of you. More importantly, I should probably put this in my Etsy shop today.

Bunny Puppet

Last night I started knitting a bunny hand puppet prototype. I still don't know how I'll add the arms in and make it work. But sometimes you have to take a leap and go in a new direction even if it's uncomfortable. I also started a new blog called Tricksy Puppets and made a Hug a Puppet treasury yesterday.
