Color Your Season Some More

Hi stampers!  We have been busy with all the grandma's and grandpa's this week so I haven't been blogging, but I do have some time to share with you today.  I kept forgetting to share this awesome card with you!  There is still time to get your hands on the limited release Blended Season Bundle!

I was sold on this bundle for the dies alone, which you can see why in this card!

The stitched shapes are just so great as is that leaf!  A tip for the leaf, is that if you have some raised dots from the release holes, you can just rub them smooth with your bone folder.  I decided to give Brusho a go with the leaf stamp and I was not disappointed.  I embossed in gold and then very carefully shook a bit of the crystals in different colors and combinations.  I tried to stay near the middle to not get a lot on the surrounding paper.  Then, I blended them together a bit and spread the color out with my aquapainter.

The colors turned out to vibrant!  And they looked SO great on that woodgrain DSP!  For the life of the though, I don't remember where my sentiment is from :-)  Sorry!  I made it a long time ago and we've been so busy!

I hope you'll try this bundle and combine it with Brusho if you haven't!

Happy stamping!

Blended Season - Winter

Hi stampers!  Happy Christmas in July ;-)  I have another card today with the Color Your Season Bundle which is available starting August 1 so I thought I'd do a Christmas card.  I think you all know I LOOOOOVE Christmas!

For this card I actually didn't use the colored pencils because I was dying to color with my new Blends Markers!  The holly image fits in the middle sized label perfectly and I used my Call Me Clover, Cherry Cobbler (both new), and Old Olive Blends to color in my holly and it's perfection!  I'm sort of obsessed with this card and with Call Me Clover as a Christmas green!

I also love the classic and simple Merry Christmas sentiment.  I added a few accents in Call Me Clover and Old Olive as well as a Real Red bow from the coordinating framelits.  It didn't immediately separate with only one pass through my big shot so I left it all together because I liked the way it looked!

The Cable Knit Embossing Folder was the PERFECT background for this card as well.  OBSESSED I tell you!

And also kind of ready for the holidays after another day at over 100 degrees, lol!

Merry Christmas in July and happy stamping!

Blended Seasons - Fall

Hi stampers!  Happy hump day!  We've made it to the middle of the week.  I'm not sure I've been very successful...it's always hard to reenter regular life after a visit back home :-)  Anyway, at least I got some stamping done on Sunday and I have a card to share using goodies from our upcoming promotion!

Starting August 1st, customers can get their hands on the Color Your Season Bundle and it's AMAZING!

It's a stamp set and coordinating dies and you can also get a new set of watercolor pencils!  I shared a comparison on my Instagram stories yesterday so make sure you look me up at Badabingpapercrafting and check that out!

For this project, I went with a fall theme.  Maybe it was the cooler temperatures at my Mom's house...which were AMAZING, by the way!  But the set itself is awesome because you can incorporate it into any season making it super versatile!

Do you see that the dies are stitched!  I die!  Get it?  LOL!  They really are fantastic. The negative image is also stitched so you can use that, too!

I used my Cajun Craze pencil to create a really light watercolor wash and I colored the wheat with Crushed Curry.   Once it was fully dry, I stamped my sentiment with Blackberry Bliss.  I love this color combo.  Oh, and that stamp is from Another Wonderful Year and I simply masked off the part I didn't want to ink with a post it note.

I also used the Subtle Embossing Folder.  It's hard to see in the catalog but it basically looks like textured cardstock.  Trust me when I say you need this one!  I also splattered a marker for some more depth and texture.

Stay tuned for more with this great set of products!

Happy stamping!
