Hi stampers! It's Tuesday and July already! Where is the summer going? Speaking of summer...we have a very summery color challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week!
And you can try your hand at some of the new in colors!
Here's what I did:
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: A dozen thoughts, everything Eleanor
Paper: Whisper white, pistachio pudding
Ink: Daffodil delight, pistachio pudding, crisp cantaloupe, strawberry slush
Accessories: Deco labels collection framelits, pistachio pudding ruffled stretch trim, bitty butterfly punch
Since the colors were bright I kept it simple. And that butterfly was punched from some leftover CS I had crimped for display stamping...how's that for a tease? :-) But it worked perfect since it was sitting there.
Now go see what everyone else on the design team came up with and don't forget to play along! We'd love to have you!
Happy stamping!

The best things
Hi stampers! I inked up a new set from the spring catalog this weekend! Yay! I thought it would be perfect for the color challenge at Colour Q!
I kept the card simple to focus on the images and the bright colors! I really love the sentiments in this set! And how true is this???? :-)
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Feel goods, everything Eleanor
Paper: Whisper white, lucky limeade, calypso coral, primrose petals, raspberry ripple, 2011-2013 in color DSP stack
Accessories: Bitty butterfly punch, basic pearls, window frame collection framelits
Love the font of the sentiment! Hope you enjoyed the card! I got quite a bit of stamping in this weekend in addition to the house listing prep cleaning:-) Now if I have time to blog!
Happy stamping!

Artisan inspired
Hi stampers! I wanted to stamp and post over the weekend but with my grandmas passing it just didn't happen. Add in the fact that Saturday night we found out that my in-laws had to put down one of their Boston's unexpectedly I just didn't have much time to stamp or blog by the time we spent some time with them and then with my family. I had planned to stamp Sunday night after my grandmas visitation but my family has a tradition of eating at a local pizza place called Monical's. If you are ever in Illinois you should totally try it, it's sooo good and we ALWAYS have to go when my Indiana cousins are here. And let me tell you...I thought we ate a lot of pizza when we were growing up! Yikes!!!! Now there are grand kids in the mix...we went through an insane amount of food, lol! Well I ate way too much pizza of course and was too full to stamp, lol! Anyone else ever too stuffed to stamp? LOL! It happens often to me when we go out to eat:-) Anyway hopefully things are a little less hectic this week although I do have a meeting this afternoon and a game tonight, boo!
The card I'm sharing today is a card that I made after making another card the other day that I decided to save for the Artisan contest. Now, don't think you're getting too much of a sneak peek because while I was inspired by the colors and some of the elements the other card is totally different. And honestly I don't like this one much, lol!
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Madison Avenue (SAB), everything Eleanor, pursuit of happiness, alahambra wheel
Paper: Whisper white, crumb cake, Sycamore street DSP
Ink: Versamark, crumb cake, pool party, island indigo
Accessories: Large scallop edgelit, paper peircing pack, pool party embossing powder, summer starfruit stitched satin ribbon, flower trim, in color polka dot brads, vintage faceted buttons, linen thread
But I do love these colors together!!!! And there is a LOT going on and a lot of accessories! If you don't have the pool party embossing powder you need to get it like NOW! I looooove it!
Better get ready for my meeting!
Happy stamping!

Everything Eleanor
Hi stampers! What's better than stamping? Stamping with FREE stamps of course:-) Today I have a card for you that I got for FREE! How? Well being a demo has it's perks and based on our sales during SAB we can earn free stamp sets! What are you waiting for? Sign up with the new $99 starter kit, pick your whole kit...it's totally customizable and start earning money and free stamps and stuff!!! :-) Ok, enough of that!
But really, stamping is sweeter with free stamps! I got this new set with my SAB rewards and hadn't inked it up yet. Well, I ran across the color challenge this week at Dynamic Duos and knew it was perfect!
And I love this combo...I love pink and I love gray sooooo.....
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamps: Everything Eleanor, fabulous phrases
Paper: Whisper white, basic gray, regal rose
Ink: Basic gray, regal rose
Accessories: Basic pearls, illuminate accent ink, dazzling details, stripes embossing folder
Sorry the picture is a bit crooked...not sure what happened, lol! Now, this card took a while because I was multi-tasking and watching TV and totally stamped the background accent in regal rose and cut them out! Gah! And that is why I should not watch stupid shows like the Bachelorette, ha! I stamped one flower full strength and then the other one is stamped off once. It's hard to see in the photo but the brighter flower has dazzling detail accents and the lighter one has accents with the smooch illuminate ink. Lots of fussy cutting too...now I remember why I try not to do that too much!
Happy stamping!
