Fitted Sheets

Everyone helped me make Grammie and Papa's bed for their visit.

Gotta love the tricky fitted sheets.

Much Easier

As we are preparing to move, there are many times these girls make my job so much easier.

Well Cared For

I don't know exactly what they were doing... but I have every confidence that Hunter was well cared for.

Little Chariots

It surely is a wonder how our little Hunter has become such a good walker given that he is pushed in little chariots so often...

Such Helpers

My three big kiddos are such helpers when it comes to little Hunter.  We took pictures up at Hotel Colorado a few days ago with the lights and decorations, and each of them wanted to hold Hunter for every picture.

The thing is, Hunter and the kiddos were so bundled up that Howard and Caroline could barely get their bundled arms around his bundled body -- we had to take those pictures fast.

I'm very lucky to have such wonderful helpers because when it he is not held, he is gone...

Youngest

I love the relationship my big kids are creating with their youngest sister.  It warms my heart to watch them together.

Hold Her

I wish I had more of a frame of reference for being the mother of four.  I wish I brought to my role the perspective of having been on of four siblings... or even one of two or three siblings, but I don't.

That being said, I wonder what Addallee's perspective is going to be as the fourth child with three siblings less than four years older than she is.  Her siblings love her and I get asked upwards of 50 times a day by one of the older children if they can hold her.  In fact, that is all Caroline will say, "Hold her! Hold her!" as she sits down on the couch and meticulously puts a burp cloth on her shoulder the same way I do when I hold Addallee.

Some Pictures

Until we are more settled in our routine as a family of six, if I am able to post a blog each day, it's likely to just be a picture for awhile.  So, thanks for hanging with me in this time of transition, and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Tested and Ready

A number of baby items are out from storage and have been tested by our oldest children and deemed ready for the baby... I'm just not sure if any of the little ones will give up, what they consider, their new toys so the baby will have a place to play.

Also, we got our first snow of the season yesterday.  It was a very wet snow, and nothing stuck to the ground, but it definitely counted as our first snow.  We had so much fun watching it while it lasted (it was too wet to go play in it).  Interesting, Hubby's school which is a mile and a half down the hill from our house did not get snow -- just rain.  A couple hundred feet makes a big different with this sort of weather in the mountains.
