Drawing Challenge

I wanted to refresh my drawing skills so thought I would copy all the drawings in the book '20 Ways to Draw a Cat and 44 other awesome animals' by Julia Kuo. I have used this book in the past but have usually copied the easy looking drawings or the ones that appealed to me most. As a challenge I am aiming to draw all the animals in the book even if they look complicated.

The bird with the hearts was not in the book, I copied a little ornament I have.

I used an app on my phone to alter this photo. The original is shown below.

Chrysanthemums

Two new fabrics. 

I was inspired by a photo I took of a young chrysanthemum and did the drawing on my computer. For the background I altered a piece of art work. The background is also available without the flowers.

Holiday and Dragon

Were you wondering why I hadn't posted recently? 

I've been away to Tenerife, these photos were taken in a place called Masca.

I have done quite a bit of drawing recently but I've not taken photos yet. 

I don't think I ever showed you this dragon which was made on the 3d printer from a design found on the internet. It has a lot of parts, which move and are held together by cord. It was printed, spray painted and joined together by my husband, very challenging. The only thing I did was paint the eyes.

Trick or Treat

This was the decoration we saw in a pub about a week ago. The green witch moves and makes a noise activated by sound. My young Grandson wasn't impressed.

I think this one will look quite spooky on a dark night, its in a small wood.
