Some of the windows of one of the building at Wallington, Northumberland, UK. It has been owned by the National Trust since 1942. It was given as a donation which included the whole estate and farms. [13,500 acres]
These are not recent photos, in fact they are from 2103 but we've had some snow falling over the last few days and it was a reminder of these snowy trees at Sunniside, Newcastle upon Tyne.
I think the snow has almost gone now in this part of the UK

I've painted 6 postcards for the Twitter Art Exhibit, global artists donate art in aid of charity. This year it is in Canada to benefit Urban Native Youth Association.
You can only send one so I have a decision to make. I've discounted the cat and I think I know which one I will send. Will you agree I wonder?
Photo taken last October in the grounds of Belsay Hall. I could remember taking a photo of this tree many years before so I looked through my archives and found the photo below, also taken at Belsay in 2006. It looks similar but the one above has more and thinner branches. The tree is next to the same fence though and has a cliff type background. Perhaps there are two similar trees there.
This was a popular tourist attraction and wedding venue previous to the corona virus but then it had to be sold. I was worried it may go into ruin again but the National Trust bought it last year so it has been saved. [although it is more expensive to visit] If you would like to read about the history of the place which goes back to to 1217 click this link.
