Printer's Drawer

I thought I would share with you images of my printer's tray complete with the junk [treasure] it holds. It gets very dusty and as I had given it a rare treat, a clean and polish, I took some photos.

More pages from sketchbook 24

Two of my sketchbooks I am using at the moment have awful paper in them. I used this sheet as a bleed through sheet and when I thought there was enough marks on it I painted over it with brusho inks. I drew on some zentangley doodles at the side with a liner pen.

I collaged till receipts on the page, painted it then drew on the chair and lion. The bird is also a drawing/painting but was collaged on.

I drew round a circular object to make a pattern and it grew from there.... [brush pens]

brush pens, liner pens, watercolour paints

I used a biscuit cutter for the shapes.

Seven Day/One Magazine Challenge

I did these collages for a 7 day/one magazine challenge, that is one collage a day for seven days using the same magazine. Click on the images to enlarge.
I used an old house magazine, unfortunately most of the images were beds or kitchens so I found it a real challenge to make seven collages, some have few images so I painted the backgrounds.
On the top collage I found circular items and collaged them to a painted page. The only images I used on the one below are the bird and bath [nest], also on a painted background.

I found a few more images for this collage, again on a painted background.

Book related images were used on the one below, also a painted background.

Love was the theme for this collage.

I made 'people/creatures' from the images for this one on striped background.

No paint on the one below, just images.

I'm taking part in the Art Every Day for a month challenge too so I hope the above will make up for the missing days.

Spoonflower Fabrics and AEDM

My very first batch of Spoonflower fabrics have arrived!
The top two are fat quarters. I've altered the one below as I thought the design was too large, so it is smaller now.

These are the swatches, some of which I thought were too large too, so some are smaller now. There are a couple that I need to alter colours on. I'll put some better pictures on next week.

Now I've got my swatches they are available to purchase and you can check out my Spoonflower shop here.

I have visitors coming tomorrow for a few days so I probably won't get a chance to post.
So I will post 4 pictures that I did in the book I was talking about a couple of days ago - art every day for a month. Thought I might as well use it for the challenge as it is the same thing.

Art Button and Doodle

The weather has been so wet and too dark to take photos of work I have done over the last two days so I'm posting these that were already on the computer.
Above is an art button, a picture I did of Molly.
Below is another doodle from sketchbook 24.
