Doodlewash, Sunhat, Collage, Brush Markers

Doodlewash
Wheat

It was my birthday the other day and one of the gifts I got from my daughter was some new pens which I tried out and these are the results. The pens are Manuscript CalliCreative Duotip Brush Markers. They have a tip each side, I found the thinnest tip hard to use so these drawings have been mainly done with the thick tip. They are very bright colours and maybe they would be better for what they were intended - lettering.

I made a sunhat for my Granddaughter. I had a couple of fat quarters of fabric so I used them. I didn't have enough of one fabric to use all the same fabric but I think they go well together.

I cannot see my Granddaughter because of lockdown so this dog is modelling the hat.

More from the little collage book, mainly gelli printing.
I used Pebbles chalks on the middle three.

It's Friday so that means it is

WIP and Collage Pages

WIP - I've painted the fabric with Inktense blocks and pencils. Then I outlined the main features with black thread using free hand machine embroidery. Next came the hand embroidery which you can see some of above.

Baby Dress, Doodlewash and Collage Book

I've been sewing this week, I made this little dress for my Granddaughter who will be one next month
I used one of my own designs for fabric and had it printed at Spoonflower. The original design was was on a small scale as you can see in the small sample below. I increased the scale when I entered a competition so that the pattern shows up better. But I forgot to reduce the scale again before I ordered the fabric so Joanie has giant ladybirds on her dress.
