Caterpillar Magazine and Sketchbook Pages

I've got a couple of my little illustrations as part of a collage in 'the caterpillar', a magazine for children. My drawings are the bird writing and the plug/socket. Visit their website here

Doodles in my sketchbook.
I recycled some washi tape [stuck on with glue stick], the lines were made with aquamarkers and water.

Aquamarkers, brusho and metallic posca pens
My friend had bought a silhouette cutting machine and she gave me a demonstration by cutting out the pink buttons. I don't like what I have done with them but the buttons are nice.
The page below shows what I did with the off cuts [the pink bits] from the buttons. There were also lots of dots......

The Caterpillar and Painted Pages

I've had one of my little doodles [created on my Samsung tablet] published in this magazine for kids. It is a shark in a goldfish bowl and it is a big doodle now!

More about the magazine here

I bought some vintage books a while ago and was cutting bits out and using them for collage but I thought I would paint some of the pages first. They look better in real life than in the photos. The markings were made with hand made stamps.

Tea for Two Cushion and CPS Article

Another cushion for my conservatory. I used a tea towel for the background fabric and more of the fabrics that I used on the last cushion for the applique. After bonding and machine stitching, I hand embroidered around all parts using a variety of stitches.

I didn't have a photo of my article in Cloth Paper Scissors that I told you about yesterday but I took some today.
