Cat Missing You - TMS #603

Hello! It's been sad around our house for the last few days, our 16 year old cat crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday. Our house doesn't feel the same without her and we miss her very much. So, this week I used the Tuesday Morning Sketch to make something for a scrapbook. It's the size of an A2 card, but there is no card base. To take advantage of the rainbows in the patterned paper I swapped the triangle corner. The design team has created some wonderful inspiration and we would love for you to join us this week. Magical Day Card - TMS #554

Colorful Thank You Card

Hello! Today I was in the mood to make something bright and cheerful. Recently I received some colorful Bo Bunny paper from the Believe collection in a card kit and I thought it would make a fun Thank You card. The layout is from Mojo Monday, sketch #451. There is plenty of space to let the paper take center stage. The Watercolor Thank You stamp by Stampin' Up! was used and I heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I used the pink portion of the paper that had been trimmed for the banner detail and stamped it with polka dots using Melon Mambo ink. Three larger sequins were used for some sparkle and that's it! A pretty simple but colorful thank you card.

Count Your Rainbows Card

Happy Friday everyone! Along with Friday comes another amazing CAS-ual Friday challenge.  The challenge is CFC64: Clean And Simple projects featuring things you'd see in the sky.  I chose a rainbow.  Although I haven't seen one in awhile, I would really like to.  Mainly because we could seriously use some rain to help with our drought conditions.  So, until the rain arrives I'm going to remember to count your rainbows, not your thunderstorms.

Count Your Rainbows Card Supplies:

• Paper: Green cardstock and white cardstock.
• Stamps: Rainbow stamp by American Crafts (59143) and Count Your Rainbows sentiment stamp by Inkadinkado (97935).
• Inks & Coloring: Black dye ink, Copic markers (G05, V17, Y17), orange art marker, diamond stickles by Ranger, and sugar cube glitter by Martha Stewart Crafts.
• Other Stuff: Stampin' dimensionals.
