Pink Bunny Card

Good day! Outside my house the ground is covered in a layer of sleet. That has me staying indoors today. So, I thought I would share with you another card I recreated. This Pink Bunny Card features an image from Unity Stamps called Dottie Bunny. I originally made a similar card in March 2021 and you can see it HERE. The patterned papers are from the Everyday paper pad by Pebbles (2015). This time I moved the sentiment over a little and added two pink hearts. Everything was adhered flat and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Sweet Wishes Card

Good day! As fast as the weeks are flying by, I figured I should get a few more Valentine cards made. This Sweet Wishes Card features an image from Penny Black called Little Charmer. It was colored with Copic markers and then die cut with the coordinating die. The card layout is simple and I used the Scallops & Rectangles nesting dies by Unity Stamps for the layers. Nothing fancy, just a sweet and simple handmade card. I'm entering this card into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge (Anything Goes/Option: Something New) and the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge (Photo Inspiration). Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!❤

Card Drive

Good day! Today I'm sharing a card I made for a Card Drive for women going through chemotherapy. Click here for all the card drive details. To create this card I used a very retired stamp set by Stampin' Up! called You've Got This. The flower was colored with Copic markers and then fussy cut. Some stamped splatters were added using the retired Gorgeous Grunge stamp set by Stampin' Up! along with Pool Party ink. The layers were cut using the Scallops & Rectangles die set by Unity Stamps. A little butterfly was added for detail and that's it. If you have some spare time I would like to encourage you to make cards for this card drive. It doesn't matter how many you make, each one will be appreciated. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

In My Heart Card - TMS #645

Good day crafty friends! We are back this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches with another new sketch and this one is by me. I do hope you will give it a try and join us this week. It's perfect for using scraps! You can find the design team inspiration and challenge details HERE. Just remember to link your creation by 8 pm EST on Sunday.

This In My Heart Card was made for my oldest Aunt who has taken care of my grandmother for the last several years. My grandmother had dementia and passed away last week. Although we truly lost her  a couple of years ago. Her passing will be a big change in my Aunt's life. The colors for the card were inspired by all the pretty pink flowers at my grandmother's funeral service. The damask paper is by Bo Bunny and the pink polka dot was a scrap on my desk. A floral image called Wonder Clusters by Altenew was added to the corner of the focal area. The sentiment is a very retired stamp from Stampin' Up! and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

On another sad note... the Watercooler Wednesday challenge is closing. I'm entering this card into their final anything goes challenge.😥

Snowman Card with Pink

Good day! After the hot summer here in Oklahoma I'm definitely ready for snow. We don't get a lot of snow, usually enough to cover the ground and make driving difficult, but I love watching it fall.

For this Snowman Card with Pink I used the Feeling Frosty stamp and die sets by Sunny Studio Stamps. The background trees were stenciled with the Sunny Studio Forest Trees stencil using tumbled glass distress ink. While making this card I made several little "oops", so I used the saying by Bob Ross "We don't make mistakes, just happy little accidents." To cover my happy little accident I added snowflakes to the four corners of the card. I had made a small rip in one corner of the pink frame and it was driving me crazy, but now you would never know it's there. Everything was adhered flat and that's it. So glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!⛄

For You Card - TMS #626

Hello! It's Tuesday again and we have another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch is designed by Melissa Craig. When starting this For You Card I couldn't decide on theme or color. So, to make my decision I just grabbed a paper pad from my stash that had never been used and went with it. The paper pad is called Flea Market by Crate Paper from 2013. From that point the card evolved. We would love for you to join us this week. Sending Love Card - TMS #613

Hello! I hope you're doing well and ready to play along with this weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. The sketch was designed by me and I had squares on the brain that day. It's a great sketch to use paper scraps or try some fun ink techniques like Debbie did on her card (click here). Don't get stressed about the size of the squares, just give it a try and link your creation to the challenge by 8 pm EST on Sunday. For all the design team inspiration and challenge details click HERE. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

This Sending Love Card is entered into the All Things Feminine challenge at Watercooler Wednesday.

Butterfly Card - TMS #595

Good day! This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we have another new sketch designed by Melissa Craig. I played around with the circular element on this card and ended up using a stencil. My first thought was a doily, but the ones I have were too big. So, I decided to go simple. Most of my cards have many layers, stamping or coloring, but I did none of that on this card. After stenciling I added a piece of patterned paper then layered on the frame, sentiment and butterfly all from the Bloom Street collection by Pink Paislee. That's it! I hope you will join us this week and play along with this sketch at Tuesday Morning sketches. For all the challenge details and design team information click HERE. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Butterfly Dreams Card - TMS #549

It's Tuesday again! These weeks in self-isolation are flying by. My hubby has been home with me for the last couple of weeks and it looks like he will be here until April 30th if not longer. So, I'm thankful I have plenty of crafting supplies to keep me busy!

This week our sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches is perfect to make a quick and easy card. I decided to make a card for one of my nieces, so I used pink. The focal stamp is one I picked up from the dollar bin at Michael's a couple of years ago. We would love for you to join us this week! Click HERE for all the challenge details and design team inspiration. Don't forget to have your creation linked by 8 pm EST on Sunday. Thanks for stopping by and stay well!

Christmas Card with Pink

Happy Friday! I'm so glad you stopped by and I hope all is well in your world. Even though I need to focus on Thanksgiving cards I caved and made a Christmas Card with Pink. The colors were selected to play along with the Inky Paws challenge that closes today. I'm not a big fan of pink, so it usually takes a challenge to make me use it. I figure one of my nieces will get this card for Christmas.

The images and sentiment are from the Festive Fawns stamp set by Newton's Nook. In fact, with the exception of the inks, papers and rectangle die all other supplies used on this card are by Newton's Nook. They include: Forest Scene Builder Die and Land Borders Die. Copic markers were used to color the images and the coordinating die cuts were used with a Big Shot. For the focal panel I did a little ink smooshing using Tumbled Glass distress ink. That's pretty much it! Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. Thanks again for stopping by!

Pink You've Got This Card

October is breast cancer awareness month and here in the United States 1 in 8 women will experience invasive breast cancer in her lifetime. To support the awareness campaign I've made this Pink You've Got This Card using the You've Got This stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Last year I made a very similar card (click here) using purple for domestic violence awareness month, which is also in October. Each of these awareness campaigns are very important to the physical and mental health of countless women. Early detection and education can help in both accounts. Knowledge is power!

Pink Christmas Card

Oh my! I've made a pink Christmas card! Pink is never my first colour of choice but I have to admit that a pink Christmas card is fun. I believe my youngest niece will love this card and it will be worth seeing the smile on her face when she gets it (especially if there is something inside). The design is from the Stella Says Sketch challenge at the Catch The Bug blog and the snowman digital stamp is by Bugaboo digi stamps. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
