Cute Dragons Valentine Card

Happy Valentine's Day! Today I'm sharing the card I made for my six year old nephew. He loves dinosaurs and dragons look like dinosaurs, so I used the cute Heart Kisses image by Dustin Pike. A mix of Copic markers and Stampin' Blends were used to color the image. The patterned paper is from the Dino Friends paper pad by Echo Park. A sentiment was added and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. That's it, a simple Cute Dragons Valentine Card. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.💗

Challenges entered: Colour Crazy (Anything Goes), Creative Knockouts (Love/Valentine's Day), Daring Cardmakers (My Sweet Valentine) and Stamping Sensations (Anything Stamped with Wings or Tails).

Mouse St. Patrick's Day Card

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Did you wear green today? It's one of my favorite colors, so I always embrace the wearing of the green. Although that's about the extent of my St. Patrick's Day celebrating. I don't drink, so no green beer for me!☘☘☘

This afternoon I made this Mouse St. Patrick's Day Card using a digital image called Little Shamrock Mouse that I found at Whimsy Stamps. It was colored with Copic markers and then die cut with a stitched circle die. The green patterned papers are from the Lots O' Luck paper pad by Doodlebug Design (2018). The black and white polka dots help break up all the green and I decided to add a little bit of gold glitter paper for some sparkle. A sentiment was the final touch and everything was adhered flat. This card is entered into the 2 Crafty Critter Crazies March Anything with a Critter challenge and Crafty Gals Corner Make It Green challenge. Thanks for stopping by!☘

Hedgie Birthday Card

Hooray for Friday! 😊 Although my hubby had his hair cut on Tuesday and Thursday he got a text from the lady who cut his hair, she tested positive for Covid. They were both wearing masks, but he is now on quarantine at home. We are praying he doesn't get it!

I made another birthday card to play along with the 11th Birthday Bash at Catch The Bug. This Hedgie Birthday Card is for day 4 which is a bingo challenge. I used the middle row across: die cut, Bugaboo image, 3 layers. The papers might look familiar... I used the boy colors on the card posted on Monday. I arranged the papers the same but changed the image shape and sentiment placement. I think it turned out pretty cute! This card is also entered into the Anything Goes challenge at Aud Sentiments. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day.

Mouse Birthday Card

Good day crafty friends! I'm going to let you in on a little secret... I think mice are adorable. There are no shrieks or screams when I see one and as long as they stay outside we live in peaceful harmony. 😊

This Mouse Birthday Card was made to play along at the Day One Catch The Bug 11th Birthday Bash. The theme this year is Woodland Friends, so I used the Mouse Big Balloon digi by Bugaboo. Copic markers were used to color the image and then I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out. All patterened papers are from the Happy Birthday paper pad by Echo Park (2017). Three red stars were added for detail and the birthday sentiment stamp is from the retired Bonanza Buddies stamp set by Stampin' Up!. That's it and thanks for stopping by.

Thankful Turkey Card - TMS #579

It's hard to believe that November has arrived. Now that Halloween is behind us I'll be focusing on my Thanksgiving Cards. I mail about a dozen or more to family and friends. 🦃 Do you send handmade Thanksgiving cards to your family?

This weeks sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches was perfect for this Thankful Turkey Card. I've had this digital image printed for several years. It was left over from cards I made back in 2016, so I decided it was time for it to appear on it's own card. 🦃

The challenge details and design team inspiration for Tuesday Morning Sketches can be found HERE. We would love for you to join us this week! All you have to do is make a creation using this weeks sketch and link it to the challenge post by 8 pm EST on Sunday. I'm glad you stopped by and enjoy the rest of your day. 🦃

Thanksgiving Card - TMS #578

Good day crafty friends and welcome back! Today is the start of a new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches and I know you're going to love this sketch designed by Melissa Craig. It's perfect to use scrap papers or to cut that new paper pad you just bought. I did a little of both. The Happy Thanksgiving sentiment was already stamped left over from last year, so I started with that and then picked papers that went with the Bugaboo image.

We would love for you to play along this week! The design team provided a variety of inspiration and you can find their designs and all the challenge details HERE. We look forward to seeing your creations! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Firecracker Card - TMS #561

Welcome back to the start of another new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch was designed by me and I would love for you to play along. Feel free to swap out the stars for any shape that works with your design. I was thinking about Independence Day when I designed the sketch but stars are fun for birthdays too. The design team did a fantastic job with their inspiration! Click HERE for all the challenge details and don't forget to link your creation by 8 pm EST on Sunday. I hope to see your card in the linky gallery!

Do you send cards for Independence Day? I don't send many, maybe two or three to my family. To make this card I used a digital image I found on Etsy by Drawn by Krista. The image was colored with Copic markers and the sentiment was made using the computer. Five punched blue glitter stars on top of red striped paper and that's it. An easy simple card! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Miss You Card with Dog

Hello! The days keep flying by but my crafty mojo has been on the fritz lately. It's not because of the lack of supplies because I have plenty and still enjoy ordering new stuff (ha). When I sit down at my craft desk I look around online and then just walk away. I know I'm struggling with the passing of my brother and I'm sad. It's just going to take a lot more time!

This Miss You Card with Dog was made using the Stella Says Sketch challenge at Catch The Bug. The sketch is for a square card, but I rarely send a square card through the mail. So, I condensed it into a rectangle A2 card. The image is called Flower Puppy and it was colored with Copic markers. The floral paper is from the Memory Box Cottage Meadow paper pad and the Miss You die cut is by Impression Obsession. A little flower was added for detail and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Violet Thanks Card

Hello! I have a quick post to share this Violet Thanks Card I made using the Stella Says Sketch #809 challenge. Purple and green are my favorite colors and I love it when they are paired together. The Violet Watering Can image is digital and it's by Bugaboo Stamps and was colored with Copic markers. All the papers were sitting on my craft desk from other recent cards. You really can't go wrong with gingham and polka dots! The thanks sentiment is retired by Stampin' Up! and that's it. So glad you stopped by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Pile of Fun Card - TMS #534

December is moving along and I'm not getting close to what I need to accomplish. So, I've decided that it's okay. Not everything has to turn out the way I planned because too much has happened that wasn't planned. I'm trying to just "let it go"! However... today is Tuesday and that means the start of a new sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch was designed by Debbie Foster and you can make it as simple or as elaborate as you want it to be. I know this time of year is busy, but if you have that last minute card to make then this sketch might be just what you need. We would love for you to join us this week. Pick of the Patch Card - TMS #527

Happy Tuesday and welcome back for another new sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks sketch is pretty simple and can be utilized for a wide variety of occasions. I went with Halloween and made this Pick of the Patch Card for my three year old nephew. He recently went to the pumpkin patch and had a great time, so I thought all the pumpkins would be fun. The image is called Halloween Peeker Ghost by Bugaboo Stamps and the sentiment is from a Newton's Nook stamp set called Boo-tiful Night. Three orange stars added to the green strips of paper to follow the sketch and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping.

We would love for you to join us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches! You can find the challenge details and design team inspiration HERE. Don't forget to link your creation by 8 pm EST on Sunday. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see your card in the gallery!

Mummy Halloween Card

Hello! The hubby and I decorated our front yard last night for Halloween. We have a dozen inflatables and we put lights on the trees and bushes. It makes it fun for the kids and our yard is known for it's Halloween decorations. My favorites are the black cats and one of our neighbors told us that her daughter blows kisses to them when they drive by, so cute.

Well, onto this Mummy Halloween Card featuring a retired image by Bugaboo Stamps. It's been printed for a while and I thought it would work well with the current Stella Says Sketch challenge. I mixed several different patterned papers and used a trick or treat sentiment from the Happy Howl-oween stamp set by Newton's Nook. Copic markers were used to color the image and everything was adhered flat for easy shipping. One more Halloween card done and about six more to go to have enough for my family and friends. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

All patterned papers are from the Stay Awhile collection by Bo Bunny and the sentiment is from the Coffee Break stamp set by Jaded Blossom. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by!

Drumming Rabbit Card

Happy Friday! It's back to school time and my niece is in the drum line of her high school band. So I searched for the perfect image and finally found this cute drumming rabbit by LilooboxShop on Etsy. Even though it was meant to be an Easter image it was exactly what I wanted. The image was colored with Copic markers using her school colors and then die cut with a frame die by Taylored Expressions. The patterned papers were gathered from my scrap bin and the Woohoo! sentiment by Paper Smooches added. Everything was adhered flat for easy shipping and that's it. Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful and crafty weekend!

On My Mind Card - TMS #513

Another week has come and went and it's time to start another sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This weeks layout was designed by Debbie Foster and my card features a digital image called Bunny by Di's Digital Stamps. The sweet bunny was colored with Copic markers and die cut with a stitched square die. A sentiment was added where the butterflies are featured on the sketch with some twine in place of the rick rack element. A small butterfly was added for detail and that's it. I sure hope you will join us this week! For all the challenge details and design team inspiration click HERE. Don't forget to have your card linked by 8 pm EST on Sunday. Welcome Spring Card

It may be Summer but I'm thinking Spring. I send out more cards in Spring and Fall, so I thought I would work on cards for those seasons. I'm also trying to use the digital images I already have printed and this Spring Friends image by Bugaboo Stamps was perfect to go with the current Stella Says Sketch challenge. After selecting the patterned paper from the Hoppy Easter paper pad by Doodlebug Design the image was colored with Copic markers to coordinate. Some scraps were used for the three banners and the sentiment is from the Woodland Spring stamp set by Newton's Nook. For easy shipping everything was adhered flat and that's it. So glad you stopped by and I hope you come back again soon.

Vintage Butterfly Card - TMS #510

Hello and happy Tuesday! I can't believe it's already July. There's not too much I like about summer but I do love butterflies.
