Doodles to Repeat Patterns

A repeating pattern created from this single flower

This one was the easiest to make into a repeating pattern, I just tiled the squares as they were.

I made a cushion with the fabric I had printed at Spoonflower. This is the velvet fabric, it prints lovely and is nice to touch.

Fabric Swatches

I ordered a batch of fabric swatches from Spoonflower. They are about 8" square but I decided to reduce the size of some of the designs so they would fit multiple repeats on the swatch. I don't think it worked well with some of them so I've increased their size back.

Now I've bought swatches all these fabric designs are for sale on Spoonflower.

All these were printed on Petal Signature Cotton. They don't print as bright and vivid as on the velvet.

I used my sister's knitting book as a background for this one.
