Sizzling Circles and Rhine Drawing

I went on a Rhine cruise a few years back and took some photos with my tablet. This was drawn on my tablet taken from one of the photos.

This is a repeating pattern partly done on my tablet and finished off on my computer. I'll be adding it to my collection of fabrics and wrap in Spoonflower.

Dotty, Spotty and Square

I got my latest fabric swatches from Spoonflower today, among them was a swatch for a design I entered into a contest last month and it came in the top ten. It was for a small scale geometric design for shoes. See the other winners here.
I did a range of fabrics using the same colours and dots and squares.

The fabrics are available to purchase at Spoonflower here

Lollypop, and Flower Doodles & Rolling Stamps

This doodle reminds me of the big lollypops on sticks that you see at the seaside.

Rolling Stamps 56, 57, 58

The top one is made from textured wallpaper stuck around a card roller. Use recycle containers such as you would find inside foil, cling film, granules etc. As you can see the top one was just a section of paper ripped off, so not a repeat pattern. You can see where the repeat starts on the one below. This one is made from fabric and has holes cut out.

I used offcuts of fun foam for this roller. If you don't have sticky foam use double sided sticky tape or glue. A strong glue is probably best if you want to reuse the roller over and over again.

Autumn & Mesmerizing

Three versions of Autumn for the Three Muses challenge
[altered photos, the interesting window in the version below was at Cragside House]

And for the "Illustration Friday" challenge - mesmerizing - I started off with a brush pen doodle and altered it in Paint.Net for a mesmerizing effect [well maybe it would be if you looked at it long enough]

Promarker ATC, Rat & RS41-44

This ATC was created using promarker pens, then enhanced with stitching using a red thread.

I saw that rat lurking about in the garden again!

Knitting makes nice textures on rolling stamps.
this one is lace

more knitting [ I cut up an old jumper]
