When even hard-boiled old John Brennan says he would 

refuse to waterboard someone, even if ordered to by the 

President, you begin to suspect that waterboarding 

just might be torture.

"Director Brennan, in light of a high-school stoner hacking

your AOL email account, isn't it time to change the name

of your agency from 'Central Intelligence Agency' to just

'Central Agency'?"

"LEAVE THE CIA ALONE!"

If you looked like John Brennan, you would defend

torture, too.

In withdrawing his name from consideration as head

of the CIA, John Brennan wrote: "The fact that I was

not involved in the decisionmaking process for any
of these controversial policies and actions has been

ignored." Isn't this the same argument Adolf Eichmann

made when he was on trial in Jerusalem for war crimes?

If you think John Brennan looks mean now, just wait until

President Obama nominates him to be head of the CIA.
