Dragon Quest IX Side Quests

Welcome to the Side Quests section of our guide. Here, you can find information on the game's many -- you guessed it -- side quests. A vast majority of Dragon Quest IX's side quests are numbered and regimented in such a way that they are easy to organize in a specific order. For as far as we can, we will order them sequentially by the number given to them in-game, but for any and all other non-categorized side quests, we will throw them into the list and call them out as necessary.

There are, of course, a few things to keep in mind as you move forward and use the side quests section of this guide. Each page of side quests has the side quest's vital information. The number and name of each side quest is noted, along with more quick information we've organized. "Where?" tells you where you can find the person who will give you the side quest request, and not necessarily where the side quest itself takes place (unless it takes place in an identical location). "What?" is a carbon copy of the in-game text that loosely describes the side quest. "When?" notes approximately when in the game you will be able to find this person (as a person may sometimes appear in a location you've already been, but only at a specific point in the game). And finally, "Reward" tells you what your reward or rewards are for completing the side quest in section.

And now, without further ado, the side quests section of our guide.

Please keep in mind that this side quests compendium is currently a work in progress, and isn't yet complete. Thank you.
