World Party, Live At The Wireless, Triple J, Sydney, Nov. 22, 1993

World Party
Live At The Wireless
Triple J, Sydney
November 22, 1993
1st generation

01 World Party - Is It Like Today
02 World Party - Sunshine
03 World Party - Mystery Girl
04 World Party - Sooner or Later
05 World Party - No More Crying
06 World Party - Sweet Soul Dream
07 Andy Glitre - JJJ Outro

This is a 1st generation tape I got from an Australian tape trader back in the Goldmine days.  There were classified ads in back of the magazine, and we'd exchange lists of what we had, always on the hunt for someone with a "master copy" of a broadcast.

A lot of what was out there was five or six generations from the original recording, so there was a thick layer of tape hiss over the music.  While this one is not a master, it's a 1st generation and it sounds pretty good.

Andy Glitre was the usual host of Live at the Wireless in 1993.  I don't know his voice so I can't confirm that he's the one on this broadcast.  I've labeled it with his name, but if any of Our Beloved Audience know differently, please leave a correction below.

Two of the songs on this performance were not on an album at the time of the recording:
No More Crying was the B-side of "All I Gave."
Mystery Girl was the B-side of "Giving It All Away (extended version)."

While I didn't find any press coverage of the broadcast, I've included some contemporary Australian press coverage of World Party for you to read.
