First of all, I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday.  We've got a double-header lined up for today.  As the liner notes are the same for both shows, I'm only posting the notes once, on the second post.  What we've got line up for you are two very rare shows taken from the original radio station reels, once again provided to us by a friend of the Voodoo Wagon blog, the generous Sam Eliot's Mustache.

While I've been researching radio shows for years, the Thirsty Ear series was known to me only by a single show - the Talking Heads appearance at Northern Studios, Maynard MA on November 17, 1977.  There's a copy up at Guitars 101...but other than that, I've never heard another Thirsty Ear show.

If any of our Beloved Voodoo Wagon Audience have any knowledge, rumors, facts, stories, etc. about this radio show, please drop 'em in the comments below.
