Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention - 1968-11-08 - Fullerton,CA

Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention
1968-11-08
Titan Gymnasium
California State University
Fullerton,CA

Before they come and confiscate my holy bootleg collection, I will share as much as I can and bring my external hard drives (3rd copies) to the local bank! I guess if they are lying at the bank they will be saved. Cause if something´s hidden at the bank, the government will defend that secret box with their own lives (it could be cash in there). No problem!

Hail Zappa!

Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention - 1973-06-24 - Hordern Pavilion - Sydney,AUS

Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention 1973-06-24 Hordern Pavilion Sydney,AUS Frank Zappa show from 1973! Or should I say:On the peak of his career? I mean,he had made the "Freak Out" album in 1966 and he had made "Chunga´s Revenge(1970)" and he had made the "Waka Jawaka"album in 1972 already. And 1973 now is the year of "Cosmic Debris","Fifty Fifty" or "Montana".Frank Zappa & The Mothers are rocking the world... You can hear the fun they had when they played these shows in June of 1973!They sound like they would play "Father Oblivion","Yellow Snow Suite" or "Cosmic Debris"... like they played them for the first time...and never again! If you like Frank Zappa shows (there is the June,25th,1973 show on the Wagon down below, too), and if you still don`t have them,I can only recommend these shows! And I promise: You will love this show, too! Ah,I forgot to tell you something bad...There are some very few unfortunate cuts... Disc 1 01 Soundcheck 8:35 02 Montana 7:30 03 Dupree's Paradise 21:59 04 Dog Meat 7:52 05 Fifty-Fifty °°° tapeflip @ 0:00.541 (47:14.715) 6:49 06 Cosmik Debris 5:56 Disc 2 07 ] Inca Roads (swank Version) 11:52 08 Yellow Snow Suite 19:36 09 Father Oblivion& ~ tapeflip @ 1:55.773 (1:34:17.26), missing a few bars; from here on its a higher gen source ---> encore 19:27 10 ~ Son Of Mr Green Genes~King Kong~Chunga's Revenge 16:03 George Duke - keyboards, vocals (sang extensively only on the European tour 73001-730930) Tom Fowler - bass Bruce Fowler - trombone Ralph Humphrey - drums Sal Marquez - trumpet, vocals Jean Luc Ponty - violin Ian Underwood - alto saxophone, synthesizer (played alto saxophone for the whole duration of this line-up. He played synthesizer before Sal Marquez joined and after he left) Ruth Underwood - percussion Frank Zappa - guitar, vocals Last thing to mention:It´s time to celebrate Zappa´s birthday (12-21-1940) next week or to mourn for his tragic and too early date of death (12-04-1993).
