Hot Tuna / The Fillmore, San Francisco March 4, 1988 KFOG-FM

Hot Tuna with Paul Kantner & Special Guest
Papa John Creech
The Fillmore
San Francisco, CA
March 4, 1988
KFOG-FM

Digitized from high bias cassettes (TDK SA-X, TDK-SA, Maxell XL-IIS) June 2015.  The original broadcast had a few seconds of distortion in several spots, and a few seconds of radio static here and there, which I cleaned up as best I could.

Grace Slick makes an appearance, as does Will Scarlett.  If you like this, you can also see video of the performance over at http://www.musicvault.com/   You can also buy the original poster for the show for a mere $98.00 over at: http://www.wolfgangsvault.com/hot-tuna/posters/poster/F001.html

As it's a long show (over three hours), I split it into two files, one for the first set, and the other for the second set.

Bill Graham Productions had just reopened the Fillmore (this had followed a July 1987 fire that had permanently closed Wolfgang's, Graham's 600 seat night club)...and was the first of the classic 1960s acts to play at the reopened venue.

Flac files of wavs.

Notes: This is an excellent Tuna show. Jourma and Jack are at the top of their game walin away. Amazing version of Rock Me Baby. This is a show at The Palladium in New York, and was recorded from an FM radio Broadcast that was broadcast on WNEW-FM. I recieved this show from one of my trading buddies this summer. This is an excellent electric Hot Tuna Show. It really showcases Jourma and Jacks Abilities to rock that good old Acid Rock. I recommend all Tuna fans grab this show as it is Most Excellent.
