Peter Tosh / Dominion Theatre, London Oct. 23, 1983

Peter Tosh
The Penthouse / Omni Magazine College Rock Concert CC 1016
LW's Limited Broadcast Week of January 22, 1984
Recorded live at the Dominion Theatre, London, UK on October 23, 1983

01 Intro - Pete Larkin and Richard Skinner
02 African
03 Coming In Hot
04 Not Gonna Give It Up
05 Where You Gonna Run
06 (You Gotta Walk And) Don't Look Back
07 Break
08 Glass House
09 Can't Blame The Youth/Dem Ha Fe Get a Beatin'/Babylon Queendom (Medley)
10 Johnny B. Goode
11 Mama Africa
12 Outro

Coming In Hot is listed on the cue sheet as Firing The Shot.

One of the songs was originally issued with two different names, it's Don't Blame The Youth, or Can't Blame The Youth.

A sharp-eyed reader spotted that this track (9) is actually a medley, and I've updated the track listing and retagged the files.  Or is that "sharp-eared?"  Either way, he picked up on the fact that the song is actually a medley of three songs: Can't Blame The Youth, Dem Ha Fe Get a Beatin', and Babylon Queendom.  I've retagged the file, updated the txt file, and uploaded it to reflect this new knowledge.

I'm awarding the very first Voodoo Wagon No-prize Award to Dan, for meritorious service to the cause of Voodoo Wagondom in catching my error.  The No-prize has no cash value, but is virtually priceless as it makes you the envy of everyone else in Our Beloved Audience.

The run out grooves get groovy with:
COLLEGE ROCK CONCERT #1016-A CC84-2
COLLEGE ROCK CONCERT #1016-B CC84-2

This the same show as BBC In Concert 318 (issued on LP), and also Classic In Concert 39 (issued on CD)  Both of these were issued only to radio stations.  The CD had a booklet listing the band members.  I've included a scan I found on Discogs.com..

The LW releases are often one or two songs shorter than the BBC transcription discs, but this release is identical across all three releases (BBC In Concert, Classic In Concert, and this release).
The tracks were released in 2012 in Europe as a bonus disc on Peter Tosh 1978-1987, a 6 CD compilation of Bush Doctor, Mystic Man,  Wanted Dread and Alive, Mama Africa, No Nuclear War and Captured Live.  This set also featured a disc of alternative versions (extended mixes, single edits), and a disc with this previously unreleased Dominion show.  The show has never been issued in the USA.  Obviously...if you like this, go track down and buy a copy of 1978-1987.

The Penthouse/Omni Magazine College Concert was produced by London Wavelength for five months from September 11, 1983 to February 12, 1984.  The show ran every week, with a 3 week holiday break from late December to mid January. The numbering was sequential, running 1000, 1001, 1002...1019, for a total of 19 shows.  Most were concert broadcasts, but at least three were interviews interspersed with released studio tracks. Six were repeats of prior London Wavelength shows from the BBC Rock Hour.

Peter Tosh - Live Veronica's Rocknight 1983

Peter Tosh - Live Veronica's Rocknight
Ahoy Hall

September 30, 1983
FM Source @flac

Veronica began its life as an offshore radio station, Radio Veronica, on 17 May 1960. The name comes from its first name VRON (Vrije Radio Omroep Nederland) Dutch for Free Radio Station.
Radio Veronica, which broadcast from a ship on international waters off the coast of the Netherlands between 1959 and 1974. The wave appearing in the logo hearkens back to that time. The name Veronica is a derivation of the abbreviation VRON (Vrije Radio Omroep Nederland / Free Radio Broadcasting station Netherlands).

After the pirate-activities became legally impossible (31 August 1974), Veronica transformed itself into the Veronica Broadbasting Association (Veronica Omroep Organisatie, short VOO), enabling it to gain a legal radio and television license within the Public broadcasting system. It finally got a licence on 28 December 1975. The first television broadcast of Veronica took of on 21 April 1976.
