Oh Christmas Tree

The tree is one of the most utilized and well known symbols of Christmas. We display them shortly after Thanksgiving until Christmas or New Years. The tree has many spiritual meanings. Its triangular shape represents the trinity. Its needles and top point heavenward. It is an evergreen symbolizing everlasting life. When you admire your tree, let it remind you of our Savior in Heaven. 1. Christmas Tree 2005 , 2. Christmas Tree 2006 , 3. Lobster Pot Christmas Tree , 4. Monday mosaics are back and the Christmas season has kicked off. There are so many signs of Christ displayed this time of year. As my pastor reminded us yesterday, we as Christians should not just see these things as pretty, but should take time to reflect on them. Join me here each Monday this month for symbols of the season. Merry CHRISTmas! "... wise men from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." "...and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star , they rejoiced with exceeding great joy."
