Happy Saturday, friends! Bobby has a great pair of colors for us at Just Us Girls this week ~ Terra-cotta and Green. We also have the wonderful Joanne James joining us as our guest designer for the month of April! Welcome, Joanne!
Now I gotta tell ya... the colors threw me for a loop! I don't know why, they go together beautifully! It was a real creative block until I started digging through my supplies! An idea was born after finding the perfect stamp and die set.
PTI's Mat Stack 3 sparked that idea. I used Canyon Clay ink as my version of Terra-cotta. The YOU portion of my sentiment was double stamped, then stamped with Versa Mark and clear embossed. One of my favorite cover plates was used for the card front. I added my die cut then draped on some greenery and a pair of flowers. Colors that had me completely befuddled turned into a card that I absolutely love!
We hope you can join us this week!

I love it too Lisa! The challenge colors totally POP against your white background that Michele lets me use everytime I go to her house (because I'm too cheap to buy it myself!). Beautiful card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Great end result using the colors! Love that flower and leaf dye perfect with the colors.
Great background!
Every week I look forward to another pretty Lisa card...and this one is no different. Every element is something I would want in my stash. Love it!!!!
Beautiful choices for this lovely design.
Lisa that is absolutely stunning! The embossed background is so lovely.
Another pretty and perfectly placed card, Lisa. This is really lovely and bell balanced!
You made these colors sing, Lisa! Gorgeous design-I especially love the dainty die cut flower and leaves draped around the mat.
I love your card too, Lisa. The sentiment label was a great start and then you added the wonderful leaves and flowers to take it over the top.
I absolutely love how you used these colors, Lisa, and these sweet flowers!
Well you know I'm sold on the debossed card front but I'm telling you I LOve the mat - is this pattern built in? SO pretty, Lisa - and YES it IS a great choice for those colors!

Ok, LISA, this is definitely gorgeous -- you pulled the colors together beautifully!
Never would have thought you had a problem creating with these colors, Lisa. Your card is just amazing!
This is so pretty Lisa. A beautiful design, wonderful texture and gorgeous colors!!
Your finding of the perfect stamp + die combination makes for a perfect card for this week's colour pairing. So incredibly pretty!

Such an elegant beauty! Your flowers and leaves are gorgeous framing the sentiment panel, which is totally gorgeous, too!
This is SO pretty with that airy stem and orange bloom layered over your lovely sentiment die cut - that background cover plate gives so much CAS interest in the white! xx
Simply stunning Lisa. Love the background and how you used the lovely dies with this weeks colours.
What's not to love Lisa?! That background coverplate is lovely and the stamp and diecut bloom accents make for a fabulous card - so elegant. Thanks for the warm welcome to JUGS this week!
how wonderful. Terra cotta is a tough one for me.
This is beautiful! I can relate to how these colors were head scratching, but turned into something so pretty!
What a fabulous creation, Lisa. All of the elements are perfect together, and so are the colors. The background is beautiful and what a great idea to use that Mat Stack 3 Die as you did. Like Michele, I am curious about the stamping on the die cut. I have All Booked Up, which has a stamp in that shape, but not this one. Where did the one you used come from? It's gorgeous, and the colors are fabulous, and I love your floral die cuts for the perfect finish! What a lovely card.
Unique & so striking! Love this, Lisa! I need to actually try stamping on my PTI Mat Stack--love the look of yours!
