Joy

Hey there sweet peeps! I have another Christmas card to share today. I'll be linking this one up at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge. They're looking for anything Christmassy. This works!

I made a few cards this year using the fabulous WF poinsettia die. Hope you're not sick of it yet! A little embossing, patterned paper and die cutting made this one super quick and easy.

I'm off to the grocery store today.

That receipt total has become a real shocker, hasn't it??!!

tiny baby, silent night

Our cards went in the mail yesterday. Sweet P put all of the postage stamps on for me! She keeps telling me, "Just let me know if your need help gramma."  ♥  More on that at the end of this post. You came here for a card, right? This one will be added to the Christmas Kickstart Challenge gallery.

Nothing says Christmas like baby Jesus! This is a sweet set I picked up from Reverse Confetti during their closing sale. I used a Gellyroll pen on the horn and halo. Wink of Stella gave her those sparkly wings! I added the images to an arched stamped with PFS's winter berry then popped them onto the kraft panel embossed with a folder from SG. The sweet sentiment is one I bought at a stamp convention from a company called Morning Star Stamps. It goes perfectly with this set!

Sweet P spent a few hours with us after school on Friday. I saved the Nativity set as a surprise for her to set up. She carefully unwrapped each piece and wanted to talk about each of them She got so excited when she unwrapped Mary and baby Jesus! She said "They're the most important, gramma!"
"You point where I should put it and I'll do everything. Okay, gramma?"

When she finished she wanted to say a prayer to baby Jesus.

What a blessing this little girl is!

Peace & Joy!

I had a little fun today creating with snippets of paper for the Christmas Kickstart Challenge! In fact, I had so much fun, I made two cards!

These were so easy! I layered a scrap of cardstock with an adhesive sheet topped with snippets cut with my paper cutter. Next, I ran it through my die cut machine with an older Top Dog Dies ornament. Not wanting to distract from the focal image, I simply embossed a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card base with an older Tim Holtz embossing folder.

And here is card number two. Same paper pad (MME), different snippets!

I see a few more of these in my future.

Too easy and pretty not to use up more bits and pieces!

Hark!

Hello lovelies! I'm popping in today to share a card I'm linking at at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge. This is my first time playing along with them. I couldn't let their Christmas Story challenge pass me by. After all, that IS the true meaning of Christmas.

More Michele goodies!! I just love her and all of the fun things she brought along on her visit for me to play with! I added my own sentiment on a PPP die cut tag to the glorious golden swirls. I'm so bummed this die is no longer available. We need a petition or something LOL!! The sweet MFT angel is grounded by vellum polka dot clouds (PPP die).

I hope the team sees this as part of the Christmas story. I think Heaven was shining bright and the angels were full of joy upon the arrival of our Savior.
