Give Thanks

Hey there! The days just seem to be whizzing by lately. I've been working on Christmas cards, trying to get caught up ~ OY! But I did finally manage to get a card made for a challenge or two. This one is for Color Hues and Sunday Stamps.

Using Carved Pumpkin and Peeled Paint inks, I randomly stamped a panel using PRS leaves, grid and dots. After die cutting it with a PPP banner I added it to a panel cut with an Altenew cover plate. I opted for ribbon as the top portion of the Sunday Stamps sketch then popped on a DeNami circular sentiment. I'll hand deliver this one to my mom and dad so a button seemed like a good finishing touch. I haven't used one of those in a while!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sending You God's Blessings

Like so many of you, I'm joining in with making cards for Ukraine to show my support for them. The fear and heartache they must feel is unimaginable. I pray this comes to an end soon and send God's blessings to each and every one of them. My card will be added alongside many others at Color Hues where they have a special challenge using the Ukrainian flag colors of blue and yellow.

The Sunflower is their national flower. I stamped and die cut several of them (PTI) to add to my stenciled sky (MFT). I thought of this DeNami Design sentiment right away when my card idea popped into my head last night. A pair of vellum winged butterflies (Simply Graphic) and a sprinkling of confetti (PPP) finished things off.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!

God Bless You

Hey there! My teammie Lisa K. has a lovely soft color palette for us at Just Us Girls this week. I decided on a wintry theme, check it out!

This card all began with a tiny white church (PTI)! I inked a light blue sky then white embossed some pine trees (DeNami) over it. That little church was placed at the top of a snow covered hill. I brought silver to the mix with a heat embossed sentiment and snowflakes. I love how peaceful this looks!

Okay, your turn. We look forward to seeing what the colors inspire you to make!
