Angel of Fire

I used the same fiery background for these two creations, the one above also has a sculpture which I saw in Crete and the one below is a photo of the Angel of the North.

Queen of the North

Mixed Media. Layers - photographs of the North East printed on sheer fabrics and layered. The queen is the angel of the north with a new head. Machine embroidered and beaded and then applied to a white painted canvas.
