6 Challenge Blog!! Join the fun!

It;s been a while since I've had time to participate in some challenges. I was blown away by my new Unity Stamps! Been looking forward to making some cards with them.

Let me introduce you to: Indie Girl by Unity Stamps.

I used Lost and Found Portobello Road designer paper.  It seemed to match the challenge going on at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
july-inspiration-boardLook at these beautiful colors!

I added some beautiful Wild Orchid flowers and trim.  Which fits perfectly with the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge! #144 Summer Flowers
For some added dimension, I added some Liquid Pearls Bisque and Pearl.

I've also followed the Sketch from Mojo Monday challenge. #455 Challenge

There's always an Anything Goes over at Word Art Wednesday! #238-239.

This month is Anything Goes at Craft Stamper's July Challenge

I hope you're inspired to join in some challenges. It really gets my creative juices flowing!!
Have a blessed weekend!!

PSC52 Let's Celebrate FALL/Halloween

This week @ Perfect Sentiments we are celebrating FALL or Halloween.
CREATE A CARD WITH A FALL OR HALLOWEEN SENTIMENT.  USE ALL NEUTRAL TONES AND ADD JUST A POP OF COLOR.
I tried so hard to use neutrals-it's so hard for me.  When I think of fall I think of colors!  Exact opposite right?  My pop of color is red.
I colored my image with colored pencils.
I used a digi image from our sponsor: Meljen's Designs.
I've been a huge fan of theirs ever since they started sponsoring Perfect Sentiments challenges.  They have some fun & whimsical images.

I hope you'll make a card and play along with us.  You can link your card @ Perfect Sentiment Challenge.

WAW Challenge 12-with prize!!

This week our challenge features FREE WORD ART @ Word Art Wednesday

Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is my strength.  Just having the Lord living in my heart & being in my everyday life is a JOY! I can't imagine a day without him. Oh-I have bad days like everyone else-but I don't have to let that ruin everything.  In the end I know that God is in control & always wants what's best for me.
These colors reminded me of strength. I edge punched around each layer. Used dimensionals for the sentiment. Add the cute clothespin cause I love those!  It's holding the heart on the ribbon-strong. Just like God holds us up during our weak moments.

Designer paper: K&Co Road Test
Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink

Do you want to play along?  We'd love to see what you'd create with the FREE Word Art. Take a moment and meditate on what the scripture is saying to you.
If you join us @ Word Art Wednesday you could win a prize!!  Our wonderful sponsor this week is:
Heart and Soul Rubber Stamp Co
So what are you waiting for?  Let's Get Busy!!!
