Happy Easter with RRR

Really Reasonable Reason's challenge #114 is bright-spring colors.

You can't help but use those colors when doing an Easter card.

I've colored my images with colored pencils.

Added dark purple ribbon from RRR.

Flowers from Wild Orchid flowers.

I love this card!  It was a special order for a mother of an 11 yr old girl.

She loved it!

Easter Challenge @ Perfect Sentiments

I am so ready for spring!  Many things happen-trees & flowers start blooming, colors start appearing in our scenery, and best of all:  we celebrate Jesus rising from the grave! 

So this weeks challenge @ Perfect Sentiments our challenge is to feature an Easter sentiment.  The twist?  To use 3 colors from this inspiration photo:

Look at those spring colors!!

 Here's my card:

Started with the blue textured paper from Stampin Up. Punched the edging with Martha Stewart punch. Then  I stamp versa mark and embossed with dazzling diamonds embossing powder from SU. (you can't really see the shimmer-but it's there!)  I printed my Easter Sentiment on my computer & using decorative scissors to cut around it-after I lightly sponged pink around the edge of the white cardstock.  The butterflies are from SU diecut.

I love how it turned out.  Looks like spring to me!
