Stamp N Doodle-No Embellishments

This is my last week on Stamp N Doodle design team.  I've gotten to work with a lot of fabulous digital images.   I want to thank Lynne Crosskill for having me.
Please check out her amazing online store Stamp N Doodle.

This weeks challenge is NO Embellishments.
I though that would be difficult, but I had recently done this background using a stencil and distress inks.  Thought it would be perfect with Lynne's digi.
I colored the image with Prisma pencils and fussy cut it out.
I really love how it looks.
I hope you'll feel inspired to join in our challenge and check out Stamp N Doodle store.
Have a wonderful day!

Christ is the key

Altered Composition Book
Featuring Lauren Curtis digital image that you can find at
Using fusible web product, I ironed it to the material and a piece of white card stock.
To stick it on the composition book I used score tape.  I colored the image with Prisma Colored pencils.

The center strip is a piece of brown card stock. I cut down each side with decorative scissors, rubbed gesso on the edges, then sponged Tim Holtz distress ink over that.  Then I ran it thru my Big Shot inside a sizzlet folder.

To make my key, I hand drew one, traced it two more times.  Fussy cut them out, glued together with glossy accents.  I embossed it twice in silver.  I roughed it up a little with sand paper and then rubbed distress ink all over it.

This is the inside front and rear cover.  Used My Mind's Eye paper.

I hand drew my clouds and sponged blue on the edges.
The image and clouds were added to my white card stock with pop dots.

I hope you'll go over to the blog:  Stamp N Doodle and see what the other designers are up to.

Bingo at Stamp N Doodle

Do you LOVE this image?  The intent concentration of making the perfect marble shot? The wink on the girl's face as she observes.

Our challenge this week at Stamp N Doodle was Bingo!  I love playing Bingo.
Here's the chart we're using:

I colored the image with Derwent pencils.  Tied a bow with Really Reasonable ribbon.  Added the sentiment with stampin up pnches.  I wet embossed "happy thoughts" on the blue paper, dry embossed the white flower layer.  Put a metal embellishment in the middle.

I hope you'll join our challenge this week. You'll be in the running for a free digi!

Have a blessed week!

Our challenge is "Something Neglected".  I have tons of beautiful designer paper.  I haven't used my K and Company paper "Best of Brenda Walton" in a long time.  I thought the fun design went perfectly with my Stamp N Doodle "Fashion Diva" image.

Stamp N Doodle-Christmas Recipes

This week at Stamp N Doodle the design team is cooking up something special!
Featuring Christmas Recipes.
Sticking with my canvas ideas-I've included a Recipe For a Happy Home.  My SND image was colored with Derwent Pencils.  I made the lace flower by hot gluing lace in a circle and adding a metal center piece from Bo Bunny and a La Petite flower in the middle.
The background was painted, dabbed with paper towels, applied crackle paint, dabbed brown and copper over top. I lov making things look weathered! My new "thing".

I hope you'll hop on over to Stamp N Doodle and join in the fun.  There's always a prize!!

Fabulous Folds

This week at Stamp N Doodle the challenge is fabulous folds.
I searched the Splitcoast Stampers site and found this recessed window.
I knew it would be perfect for my lovely couple.
I used SU designer paper and card stock and just followed the directions.
I added the line of pearls from Wild Orchid Flowers. Cut my flowers from my Tim Holtz die and spritzed with glitter spray  and shaped them. Added tiny pearls for the centers.
My sentiment is also from SU and punched with their label punch.
Turned out adorable!
Hope you visit our Stamp N Doodle Blog and see the other fabulous folds our designers have created!

Stamp N Doodle Photo Inspiration

Stamp N Doodle has a inspiration photo for the challenge this week

My girl catching snowflakes was perfect for this challenge.
You can get the images we use  yourself.
You could win some if you enter our challenges
or buy them yourself @http://www.stamp-n-doodle.com/

I started the canvas with some spray mists and paper towels.  Dabbing until I had the right background I wanted.  I punched snowflakes from different colored designer paper and put matching glitter glue down the middle of them.  Once dry I used mod podge to adhere them to the canvas.  As a final touch I added gem stones for more sparkle & shine.

My digi image was colored with pencils.  I embossed the snowflakes with irridescent ice (although the silver glitter glue might have worked as well)  I backed her on navy paper and mod podged her down.

She turned our awesome.  I did finish the sides so she's ready to hang!

Be sure and check out my fellow designers as they have done an amazing job this week from the inspiration photo.  You can find them and the rules for entering @ http://stamp-n-doodle.blogspot.com/

Have a blessed day!
