G45 Mother Goose pocket page

I love Graphic 45 paper. Do you?

Today I'm featuring their Mother Goose series.
It's full of the basic color scheme: red, yellow, blue and green.  Can't go wrong with those!
The base is a die cut pocket page.
The pocket holds 2 large photo mats.
Check out Robyn's store at Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium. Prices are discounted 20-25% every day!

You can find the die cut pocket page at Diecutslovepaper on Etsy.  She offers many different cuts, colors and sizes.  Very high quality.

ZFold Mini Album with G45 Typography

Have you heard about the new blog in town?
It's all about using what's in your stash-what you hoard.
Do we have problems with that??  oh no!

I don't think I've met a crafter yet that hasn't admitted to hoarding.

One of my favorite things is G45 designer paper.
This mini album is using their Typography DP.
I've also added in some solid colors from colorbok.

The style I'm showing is Z Fold.  I love this style. I'm simple and I can make one in just a couple of hours.  It turns out great every time.

I've used some lace from my stash and did some fussy cutting with the paper line.  There are some Wild Orchid Flowers decorating the front as well.

Pretty much the paper speaks for itself in this album

The only other thing I used was adhesive.  Used some Scotch quick drying glue, scoretape and my Glue Art Glider Pro.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you'd like to see the video I shot of it. Find it here.

"Wonder" of December for Once Upon a Sketch

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of my granddaughter. At 11 months old, toys weren't important that year.  She was all about climbing into the window sill from the back of the couch!

The look on her face with the light shining thru the curtains is "Wonder". So that's what I named my layout. I adore how it turned out!

I used the sketch from Once Upon a Sketch. The challenge: Our favorite month. How can you not pick December?  Fun-family-friends!!
I used my G45 Christmas paper and a few chipboard pieces.
I journaled on one of the cards from the collection.  I used picket fence distress paint on all the layers to tone them down.

Here's a closeup of the texture medium on my faux brick.  I had the letters in my stash forever.  I doubled two colors so it would show up.

Thanks for stopping!!

G45 Christmas meets Word Art Wed Scripture

I have been making lots of stuff to sell to others, but nothing for myself!
so today is in honor of ME!
I love the G45 Christmas Paper.
I took apart a poinsettia spray from dollar tree.  Gesso'd some of it, but wanted one to be bright and stand out.  There's a sheer green bow underneath.  This is a 9x14 canvas.

Here's the scripture from Word Art Wednesday challenge #107 this week.  I love it!
There is paper layered with gesso, paint, smooch spritz, blue spray ink. Sponging, stamped some wording.  Then you apply your designs.  To make them POP-you outline them with watered down black paint & smear it.  I love that effect.

My good friend Cassandra has a You tube video on this technique HERE on her blog.

Here is the finished piece in a frame.  I did take some gold rub and buff and smear with my finger to bring in some gold to match the frame.

Hope you like it! I Love it!

C'est Magnifique Sketch with G45 Le Cirque paper

I love following C'est Magnifique.  Their sketches are always wonderful.
Here's the August Sketch.

I've been using some G45 Le Cirque paper.  I wanted to incorporate that with their sketch.
Here's my result (sorry it's crooked!)

I love how you can fussy cut details from their paper to use.  Look at this fabulous conversation scene between the circus characters!

Hope you all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY!!!!

Layout is for sale at my Etsy Shop -KC Inspired

Christmas in July-Vintage Tag

Happy Friday!

We're winding down with Christmas in July.  I wanted to share a Christmas tag I made today.

I wanted to encourage you to stretch outside the box on creating Christmas themes.
Today I used Graphic 45 French Country paper for most of my tag. I did sneak in a small square of Tim Holtz paper with the Christmas words.

I have a new stamp from Hampton Arts: Square Face Frame.  I definitely wanted to use her some way.

So here's what I came up with:

I mounted my face onto a piece of cardboard, colored her with prisma pencils.  Coated it with glossy accents.
I have a small piece of cheese cloth in the back, some lace and velvet ribbon on the bottom.  A couple of vintage buttons.
I love how it turned out!
I hope this inspires you to get your Christmas groove on!!

You can find all the products I used at our shop  HERE-Outlaw Women Scrapbook Emporium

Our prices are always 20-25% off retail.

This is Sadie.  I just LOVE these Angie Girls!
I used some of the other Unity stamps to make my background.
The sunflower was fussy cut from G45 French Country.

Life is Good layout

Loved the sketch on Scrapbook and Cards Today by Becky Fleck.  The one HERE was in January! I'm behind. LOL  Have tons of photos of my granddaughter.  This layout features photos we took at Cherry Grove Beach, SC Sept 2012.  She was 9 months old and it was her first trip to the beach. She loved it!

I used some Tattered Angels sprays on the paper.  At the bottom I used some modeling paste over a stencil.  My first time-I love it!
I layered some G45, MME and Stampin Up papers. I rubbed some gesso around the edges of the pages as well as the photos. The flowers and butterfly were from my stash.  The letters Dear Libby.  My saying stamped on the notebook page is from Verve Stamps.

I hope you love it-I sure do.
